Sunshine and Fun Wine

Add some sparkle to your summer with these sunny samples.

JEFF AND TARIN’S JULY SELECTIONS

Summertime is here and you’re likely taking advantage of all the incredible outdoor recreations Florida has to offer. Whether you are out on the water or picnicking outside with your family, spice up your day and stay hydrated with these refreshing wines!

Aveleda Vinho Verde could basically be described as a pinot grigio on steroids. Hailing from Portugal, it’s like a lemon lime Sweet Tart with a spritz—clean, crisp, and effervescent. Grab a few on your way to Crystal River for scalloping and let this bargain wine shine.

Our favorite kind of Rosé is French. Figuière Mediterranean Rosé is full of melons and berries with a floral bouquet and briny minerality. Imagine it paired with a grilled watermelon salad with Cape Canaveral Rock Shrimp and feta cheese.

Dr. Loosen Riesling is a true gem. With its zingy acidity of ripe Granny smith apples and lemon zest, and sharp minerality from the Mosel Valley—it’s the perfect wine for anything from foie gras to sushi. Grab a bottle and a couple of $5 sushi rolls to enjoy on your back porch, extra wasabi.
