The inspiration continues…
“The arts are not a prerequisite of the privileged few. The arts are for everyone – and failure to include everyone diminishes us all” Lord Attenborough Maiden Speech to the House of Lords, 1994
Attenborough Arts Centre’s work is inspired by Richard Attenborough, a world leading filmmaker, acclaimed actor, philanthropist and lifelong patron of the arts. Lord Attenborough was an inspirational talent and pioneering thinker, our founding 4
patron and a hands-on man who helped establish our arts centre. Handing the patronage to his son Michael, we continue to follow Richard’s vision and his legacy striving to include everyone in great art, culture and learning.
