We are a sustainable brand in many aspects, We pride ourselves in very ethical thinking in each step of our process we take. SUSTAINABLE FABRICS - We source many of our fabrics locally from a fabric store in Dewsbury (West Yorkshire) called Fabworks Mill shop. They provide us with off-cuts and off-seasoned fabric spare from textile/fashion businesses. SLOW FASHION - A sustainable fashion movement that is not coming and going too quickly. RECYCLE/UPCYLE - We recycle your old loved items into something new and fresh. WASTE INKS - We print with waste inks when screen printing illustrations and patterns for you, waste inks sourced from left overs from workshops. SAMPLING - We even use our own fabric stashes to toile our designs and sample with to create a final design for you.
BRANDING - Use of vegetable based inks and ffc approved, biodegradable, sustainable paper are used when printing. THE BONUS - It’s all designed personally to you, and guilt free!
BLOGGING - We blog all our ideas so there is no waste paper. No mistakes when printing. No waste ink cartridges.
What’s our STORY? Two young fashion creatives wanting to bring sustainablefashion in a new and innovative way. We both treasure loved memories and are both keen clothing hoarders so we created the idea of 7Threads from our own personal experiences to turn old into new and to find a way to re live memories through fashion.

4) PHOTOGRAPH: SUBMITTED 5) STORY: “I started skiing aged 5, when I was 7 I began racing at a fun race league and did well, moving onto more serious and seeded races throughout the country. I went on to become the British, European, Irish and English champion for slalom skiing and represented England. Aged 15 I managed to do 13 weeks training abroad in the alps one winter which helped me massively but was extremely expensive to do. Unfortunately aged 16 after winning the European championships I had to quit as I could no longer keep up with my peers who spent whole winters away being schooled at the same time, they eventually passed me and there was nothing I could do about it. I miss skiing because it was such a huge part of my life and was and still truly is my passion but I knew how much my parents gave up for me and will always appreciate it.”

4) PHOTOGRAPH: SUBMITTED 5) STORY: Being a dancer meant that all my weekends were occupied with dancing activities for 10 years. For this long I took dancing classes and had to go to performances, shows, competitions and demonstrations. All of this finished because high school was coming to an end and I had to prepare for university. Choosing fashion I had to take up drawing lessons which were happening during the weekends. Now being a fashion student is a very big achievement and I am enjoying it as much as possible because it brings happiness to me and this is truly what I want to do.
