P E R S O N A L P R O M O T I O N A L PA C K

DATE OF BIRTH: 20th NOVEMBER 1996 Second year fashion student with a passion for creativity, photography and travellling. My true inspiration in life is gained through travel and I have been fortunate enough to experience a diverse range of cultures when travelling around the world. For example in Bali, seeing the traditional dances and costumes, the aboriginal people of Australia and the native people of Hawaii. Excursion has enabled me to enjoy a range of clothes and outfits as well as different designs and artistic influences. Taking photographs at every opportunity, introducing me to new and different creative influences at every place. This is not just limited to manufactured goods but also the natural plants and animals which have influenced my work.

NOVEMBER 2015 - CURRENT FREELANCE STYLIST

Collaborated with designer Gemma Hill on a sustainable project

I helped out styling for the online clothing company OMGFashion which involved MUA Make up Artists, Hair Stylists, Photographer Garath Davies, Promotions Company Modella and Studio Bee Manchester. Within this role it required working to a time scale under pressure whilst collaborating with a large team, having your own individual responsibility needing to get all outfits shot within the day. Thoroughly enjoying my first collaboration, my role was to make sure all the clothes for the website were shot. To ensure this was done I had to style and dress each individual model to suit them and their body shape/style whilst matching with shoes and accessories. This then led on to being asked by the PR company Modella to come back and help them out at several events and shoots such as a Charity ladies Night in Manchester, another online collection shoot and an editorial shoot. All of which I made connections with several make-up artists, stylists and photographers. Additionally styling for an online collection shoot I hand selected the garments for specific models prior to shoot. At my most recent shoot with I got asked to have a go at filming the shoot. This is what I really love about the company as they may not be the biggest but they make me feel comfortable and give me the opportunity to broaden my experience by giving me bigger roles to play. I actually ended up modelling at this shoot as one of the models was ill. This was when styling at an Editorial shoot for magazine on location at the Cosy Club in Manchester. This was a great experience and allowed me to see the shoot from all aspects. This was a great opportunity to make connections with people who have been part of such big projects within the industry.

Working for a worldwide retail company store, this helped me specialise in a certain field of fashion. Specialising within Lingerie, this opened my eyes, gave me insight and gave me new skills into fitting bras, knowing different types and styles of lingerie. Additionally, giving me the knowledge and experience within a different customer market. Within this role some of the responsibilities included replenishment, cash rap, stockroom, standardising, individual sales targets and responsibility for a section within the floor. A key point to this role was communication with the customer as the ‘Victoria’s Secret’ story entails, making the customer feel welcome, greeting the customer, giving the customer something to think about and then going back to the customer to enforce your wiliness to help and make that sale.

OCTOBER 2013 – OCTOBER 2015 SENIOR SALES ADVISOR TOPSHOP HANLEY

I was determined to gain employment in the fashion industry to allow me to understand the fashion choices of people and also to study the current trends and styles. I have gained some valuable insight and skills into how fashion can be commercialized in order to be attractive to a retail market. This includes different promotion techniques, including visual merchandising, advertisements and social media, seeing what attracts the customer to the products and the store. I have gained many different experience and skills such as visual merchandising, replenishing, running the floor, helping lead recruitment nights and being involved with social media promotion for the store. Looking at different ways to get money into the company, such as wearing the brand and selling, communicating with the customer suggesting ad on’s and styling. Alongside the rewarding work I have also had to deal with difficult situations within stockloss and customer service, making sure I stay professional and manage the situation successfully. Whilst working up the company scheme I have achieved the Gold Award by setting myself targets and finding ways to achieve them; I am a very self-motivated determined person. I have gained valuable experience that I believe will help me pursue a career in this industry.
