“It’s awesome to share this honor,” Addie said.

“It’s great to graduate with all of my iends and to see them all succeed as well,” Leonard said.

Leonard has been especially ght with Grubbs, Halgren, Maness and Whitson. ey all played basketball throughout school (even though Grubbs had to sit out her senior season with a back injury).

So how about THAT for an achievement? All ve seniors on the basketball team share valedictorian honors.

Creswell girls basketball coach Tyler Hollingsworth, naturally, took none of the credit for the girls’ achievement.

“Whenever somebody gets a ‘B,’ we stop prac ce and have study hall,” the coach deadpanned. “Nah, these girls have always been mo vated to succeed, on and o the court.”

As the 10 valedictorians posed together for pictures after the ceremony, they answered in unison how they were able to survive 2022:

“We all s uggled together and helped each other, and we cried together a lot.”
