not ge ng o easy at the end either. The students, being good Oregon kids, hardly seemed to no ce or mind the, at mes, fairly heavy showers. A er all that they had been through up to this point, a couple of little bap sms seemed more like a blessing than anything else.

Before turning over the stage to student leadership to present these warriors their diplomas, Herington summed up these student’s High School experiences and their gradua on day weather with the Vivian Greene quote: “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

And with these words the class of 2022 rose to their feet and danced hard to a brief blast of music, defying the heavens to do their damndest to these “bad-ass” Grovers.
