Our History: In 1993, Emeritus began offering an alternative to seniors who could no longer live at home, yet did not require full-time skilled nursing home care. Since then, Emeritus has grown to become a leader in the assisted living industry, with one of the largest networks of assisted living, retirement and Alzheimer’s care communities in North America. Our primary goal is to provide the support residents need to live full and satisfying lives, while helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Some residents require even more assistance due to Alzheimer’s, dementia or other memory loss disorders. For these seniors, we offer an innovative program called Join Their Journey®. Our goal is to get to know each resident and his or her family, so that we can offer the right support for every stage of the disease process. Through this approach, we recognize individuality, encourage choices and help residents maintain their dignity by creating a safe, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.

monthly payments. Seniors are brought together to share an apartment and save on costs while forming new friendships.
Short-Stay Respite

Short-Stay Respite is a great option if you want to experience living at an Emeritus community before making a permanent move. It is also a great option if you’re being discharged from a hospital or nursing facility or you are in need of a temporary place to live while a caregiver enjoys a welldeserved break.

Emeritus Senior Living and Genesis Rehab Services have partnered to bring you the best in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, if needed.
Hospice

Hospice care is a program that provides special care for people who are near the end of their life. At Emeritus Senior Living we want to make sure that every moment is as comfortable as possible for your loved one. One of our partner hospice providers will come to our community to give supportive care to your loved one in the final phase of their life and focus on comfort and quality of life.
