The moodu light is the perfect way to celebrate the individual not just on a holiday, but every day. The u shape of the fixture is meant to be representative of “you”— the user. Customers can purchase multiple moodu pieces in addition to their moodu starter to build their own designs.
The modular design of the moodu is unlike any other. The moodu starter is electrically powered through a regular wall outlet. All moodu fixtures attached to the original moodu starter are powered through bullet snap plug terminals, like the electrical connection used for Christmas tree lights. The terminals are single-crimped to allow for maximum twisting and creativity. The moodu starter also uses both female terminals to create a clean silhouette if it is used on its own.
The moodu comes in various exterior color options and it has adjustable colored lighting. This is possible because of the power that the terminals provide, allowing for a significant voltage to be passed to the 12W, 200V LED strips. The finger scroll on the electrical wire not only turns the fixture on and off, but also changes its color with each scroll. The LED strip is incredibly long-lasting, but if it dies, a new piece can easily be ordered. These features allow the user to completely customize their lighting solution—whether it be through structural expression, colored lighting, or both.
The end goal of the moodu light is to excite the user and motivate them to celebrate each day. Research shows that creativity in the office can improve productivity and the overall happiness of workers. A day in the office does not need to be glum when you can exercise your imagination with moodu.
