Region 12’s annual Regional Training Conference will be on October 14th!!!!! Pg. 7 has more information on how Kiwanis and Key Clubs are working together in response to Hurricane Harvey damages YOF Grant applications are open and due by 11:59PM EST on Sunday, October 15th Membership Update Center is open; early bird dues must be processed by November 1st! Order your Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes before October 23rd here to get them by Halloween! Vote for your favorite divisional t-shirt design!!!!
International has partnered with Access Fundraising, so clubs now have an online fundraiser platform provided by Kiwanis and Key Club International. For more information and access to create online fundraisers, visit the link here: www.keyclub.org/kiwanisgivesonline Vote for your favorite divisional t-shirt design; I will be closing the poll prior to RTC. THERE IS LESS THAN 2 WEEKS BEFORE WE GET TO SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN, YAY CAN’T WAIT!!! Remember that I’m giving extra points to the clubs that dress up!!!!

Reminders Monthly Reports: Monthly reports are due every 5th of the month, with the exception of when it falls on a Sunday(then, they are due the next day). ❖ Please mail a physical copy to District Secretary, Shelby Morton(shelbymorton00@gmail.com): 4104 San Angelo Amarillo, TX 79118 ❖ Email a copy to me, our Regional Advisor, Ms. Judy Pomorski, Sabrina Palma, Megan Iselin, and either Mr. George Crowl or Mr. Steve Peters.
Newsletters and Articles: Just like Monthly Reports, newsletters and articles are also due on the 5th of every month(with the same exceptions). ❖ You can send up to 10 articles each month, and articles must have at least 400 words and one picture. ❖ Please send your articles and newsletters to our District Editor, Stephanie Tran (stephanietran.kc@gmail.com). ❖ Don’t forget to email a copy to me, our Regional Advisor, Ms. Judy Pomorski, Megan Iselin, Sabrina Palma, and either Mr. George Crowl or Mr. Steve Peters.

You must mark the check as a donation to the disaster relief fund and send the check to the Kiwanis T-O District Foundation at 3010 W Park Row Dr #100, Pantego TX 76013. Congratulations to those of you who have had a successful turnout at your first meetings! Remember to plan early when organizing any type of event, social, fundraiser, etc. See everyone at Regional Training Conference!!!

Regional Training Conference October is here...meaning our annual Regional Training Conference is also here!! This year’s RTC will be Willy Wonka themed! We will be teaching forums that covers different officer roles, event/social/fundraiser planning, membership recruitment, DCON, advisor duties, etc. We will also have a Key Note Speaker, a service project, Key Club Jeopardy, icebreakers, raffle prizes, a Miracle Minute and most importantly, free breakfast, lunch, and candy!! Since our theme is Willy Wonka, your individual ‘golden ticket’ to enter is either a canned good or an old t-shirt! Also, remember that I will be giving extra points to clubs that dress up and extra extra points to clubs who have at least one person dressed up as an oompa loompa!! I can’t wait to see everyone there!!

YOF Grant Applications YOF Grant Applications are now open!! Do you have an idea for a service project for next year? Apply for the YOF Grant to request any amount from $100 to $2,000 to help you make it a reality! You must submit your application by 11:59PM EST on Sunday, October 15th.

Halo Movement The HALO Movement Contest has begun! “In an effort to recognize amazing servant leaders around the world, Nickelodeon has launched the new Halo Project! The project is striving to encourage young folks like ourselves to bettering our community with HALO grants. These grants can fund a variety of service projects in your community, or even the world. The HALO Movement can potentially highlight your stories on their website and even Nickelodeon! Applications for funding is online on the Key Club International Facebook Page. There will be two (2) funding cycles per academic year. The first application cycle will open on September 1, 2017 to December 1, 2017.� You must apply at this site by December 10, 2017. Apply via uploading a Facebook picture of your own. For more information, join the Skype Webinar on Saturday, October 14th from 4-4:30PM to learn more!
