Artist Statement
Meme is an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture. I use jewelry to create my own meme and show my attitude in the pop culture in this contemporary era. I want my meme as a trendy language that allows the audience to laugh and think at the same time. I believe the way humans think and talk transformed from object to image to characters/ words and then transformed back to image and object. I focus on the audience’s interaction with my piece.
