OBITUARY STAPFORD CURRIE, was born on the 06 May 1935, in St Ann, Jamaica, to parents Fredrick Currie and Priscilla Atkinson. He was one of Nine children. He moved to England, in 1958, where he worked for several years in many professions ranging from: Bus Driver and Fork lift driver for British Telecom, until his retirement. He was a member of New Testament Church of God: Muntz Street, where he served diligently as a Minister and as the Local and District Treasurer for many years. In 2005, Stapford and Fay, retired to Westchester Gardens, in Spanish Town, Jamaica, where they attended New Testament Church of God: House of Praise, Spanish Town. Stapford, will be deeply missed by Wife Fay, Children: Kristopher and Karen. Daughter and Son in Law: Emma and David. Grandchildren: Khalil, Lilly, Cara and Benjamin.

HEAVEN’S JUBILEE Some glad morning we shall see, Jesus in the air Coming after you and me, joy is ours to share What rejoicing there will be, when the saints shall rise Headed for that jubilee, yonder in the skies Oh what singing, oh what shouting On that happy morning when we all shall rise Oh what glory, Hallelujah When we meet our blessed Saviour in the skies Seems that now I almost see, all the sainted dead Rising for that jubilee, that is just ahead In the twinkling of an eye, changed with them to be All the living saints to fly, to that jubilee. When with all that heavenly host, we begin to sing Singing in the Holy Ghost, how the heavens will ring Millions there will join the song, with them we shall be Praising Christ through ages long, heaven’s jubilee.

GOD’S GARDEN God looked around His garden And found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids And whispered, “Peace be Thine”. It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home. - Anonymous
