I, Emmalisa Grella, am currenlty studying ay George Brown College for Graphic Design, and will be graduating in the spring of 2019. I hope to study abroad for an additional year to broaden my knowledge and have the chance to emerce myself into another culture and way of life. I am constantly working towards building my social connectinos and networking. Post school, I hope the next chapter of my life will include a lot of travelling, that way I can experience the world in many different ways.
The oracle card tranquilty encourages people to take a break from their lives and step back from their busy schedules. For me I find peace in drawing and fine arts, so in order to encorperate the meaning of this oracle card into the creation of this book cover, I put pen to paper. I sat down, and set everything else aside, put on my favourtie music and drew the mermaid and creatures surrounding her on the front coverĂ?She was designed to have a carefree sense of movement to herself. Overall, emotionally, creating this book was calming and satisfying in all to design.
Oracle Card The method used to create this book cover was through a random selection of oracle cards. Oracle cards come in numerous themes, A popular means is to shuffle the deck, then with the cards spread out face down, select one at random for a daily message or guidance. Research your references for the angels you wish to include in your deck. Choose angels whose purpose speaks to you in some way, suggesting a message or meaning for the card. A fter selecting Tranquility, I picked an image and figure to represent this. I encourparted all the meanings of this card into the design process and outcome.
