Our Mission: To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Our Values Christ Centered We declare and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; our only means of salvation. Bible Based We believe the Bible is inspired by God and contains all things necessary for salvation. Holy Spirit Empowered We believe that the Holy Spirit is an equal part of the Holy Trinity and works through believers to further God’s will for each person and nation. Relational We see church as family. We care, we share, we hope, we love. Faith in Action Taking the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world in prayer and action.

EUMC Noblesville Mission Team The purpose of the Mission Team is to inspire and engage the Emmanuel United Methodist Church family to serve in outreach (local, domestic, and international), by identifying, supporting, and facilitating opportunities to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

FAITH PROMISE

Faith Promise ? We believe Faith Promise Giving is one of the most exciting, faith-building vision-expanding, world-changing things we do at Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

What is Missions? What is Faith Promise? What is God calling you to give back to Him, that which is His, for the use of Missions? Missions is about supporting missionaries who are in the field helping people with basic needs like learning to farm, raising chickens, and transforming people’s faith. Missions is also about providing opportunities for us and people like us, to take real action to truly serve others. Missions is about helping people who we know are food insecure, even right here in Hamilton County. Missions is about providing love and Christmas for kids who, through no fault of their own, wouldn’t have gifts because the providers in their family are incarcerated. Missions is about helping those who cannot fix a leaky roof, put in a window themselves, or build a ramp when they need one instead of steps. This is not about the church and it’s not about the building. Missions is about meeting people where they are and making things better because the Love of Christ commands us to make a difference in their lives. In doing so, our own life is made so much better! We ask that you prayerfully consider how God is calling you to step out in faith that He will provide what you are willing to give.

FAITH PROMISE

R E A C H

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ... For over three decades Emmanuel United Methodist Church has funded its outreach through Faith Promise. Each year we have over 100 people involved in local, national and international mission projects. This includes children and teens, as we raise them up with a heart for missions. We plan on the same amazing participation this year. We want to give witness to Christ being present in the lives of the poor, marginalized and weak. We want to work toward the shalom God desires for all people. Faith Promise is the financial support needed to make this happen. In Matthew we read the words of Jesus: “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)” We then go into our community and world as commissioned believers. You can do your part in fulfilling this great commission. Look through our Faith Promise brochure. Imagine the ways you can support missions. I encourage you to generously make a financial pledge but more importantly make a commitment to roll up your sleeves and engage in a mission project yourself. Blessings in Christ Pastor Steven

FAITH PROMISE

Serving Hamilton County since 2007. For several years, Linda Williams felt called to open a food pantry. Her dream came true in October of 2007 when she and her volunteers opened Come To Me Food Pantry at Fishers United Methodist Church. Each family visits monthly and receives food supplies for one week. Volunteers greet families and help them with their food order. While their order is being filled, volunteers take this time to visit with them...and pray with them.

FAITH PROMISE

Impact 2818 is the product of over 90 years of history. It consists of seven unique camp sites operating as one single ministry. These camps were born out of, and continue to be a significant ministry of, the Indiana Conference United Methodist Church. It’s difficult to provide an exact number of just how many people the collective camping ministries of the UMC have impacted over their 90+ years of evangelism and service. Their programmed summer camps and facilities for retreats have served the spiritual needs of over a million people. Bishops, pastors, teachers, fathers, business leaders, children‌all and so many more have had their lives altered as they encounter God in a unique and uncommon place.

FAITH PROMISE

Where will GOD take you next? One of God’s many miracles is how He delivers just what you need when you need it most. God, who created all things, and provided all gifts, simply asks us to give Him back what He gave us first. Give back to God what is His.

How can I give back to God what is already His?

There are at least two significant ways to contribute to Emmanuel’s REACH efforts: The first is to give of your time: Join a mission trip, volunteer at an EUMC connected organization, or join the Mission Team to learn where you could best contribute.

“And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.” Mark 11: 22-23

Secondly, give financially to support the EUMC Mission Team efforts in 4 continents, 17 missionary teams, and 11 countries.

SOUTH AFRICA "I work with East Mountain, a missional community in South Africa that partners with churches and other Christian organizations to equip leaders for global missional service. I'm the Director of our Residency program, a year-long discipleship and leadership development program aimed at growing emerging Christian leaders through theological education, spiritual formation, and practical life and leadership skills. Our diverse group of residents live and serve together at the East Mountain Community house, a cross-cultural learning environment that creates space for transformation in the midst of everyday life. Along with leading our Residency program. I also teach a weekly spiritual formation class, mentor young women, and partner with local ministries aimed at theological discipleship." Freedom International in the Dominican Republic

O

ur ultimate desire is to see people glorify the Lord in all areas of life. We believe that long-term discipleship is the way that lives are changed. We want to use programs that will best reach our children and families with the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ. One of the biggest advantages of our programming is that it opens doors and opportunities. We would consider it a huge success if someone headed for illiteracy became a doctor and used medicine to make God famous. In the same way, if a person who loved farming went back to work in the sugarcane fields for the glory of God, that, too, would be a great achievement. Specifically, we want to train people to glorify God in 3 areas: by walking in relationship with the Lord, developing wholesome relationships with others, and using their God-given uniqueness to live for Him. 28| LIVING BY FAITH
