MEAT
the Future!
What makes Mount Renew Meat special? It’s the time we take that makes the taste. It’s the care we take that builds the flavour. It’s the value we place in our animals that makes our meat naturally good.
In the age of quick f ix fast food and the rapidly growing global trend of growing fast hormone and grain-fed cattle, our belief is that all good things take time. That’s why our meat comes f rom natural grass-fed Australian Cattle, grown in a low-stress, chemical-f ree environment. We don’t like stress, and neither do our animals. That’s why we maintain low-stress stock handling principles so that our animals are able to be given the safest and most stress-f ree life we can provide. Our animals are then butchered locally in order to support our regional community. We believe you can’t rush real meat. It takes 10 days (minimum) of traditional hanging to ensure the meat is tenderised consistently through every cut so that our Mount Renew Meat is ready for eating. As a relatively young company, we recognise the importance of our environment. Our focus has been developing regenerative agricultural principles to further the flavour of Mount Renew Meat while also protecting our valuable land. So, that’s us! We keep no secrets so you can have absolutely no regrets. We hope that as you enjoy your f irst Mount Renew Meat and we want to thank you for supporting the produce of local farmers and our local rural community.
our branding The Mount Renew Logo is actually the symbol brand on our cattle. This is based on the Chinese character for King.
The traditional interpretation is that the three horizontal strokes represent Heaven, Man and Earth. The vertical stroke is the king, the one who connects them together. Our symbol brand on our logo is flagged by a mountain which is representative of our location – rugged range country in the North Burnett Shire. The rustic nature of our logo is symbolic of the determination required to weather the harshness of the Australian rural landscape. Hard, weather-beaten timber, barbed wire together with calloused hands are symbols of this amazing sunburnt country – God’s own land. The pain and hardship of producing beef in this country add immensely to its value.
