The Never-Ending Story of
Our story, dear reader, begins with a bear She lives and she plays even when no one is there “One day, I’ll have all my love to share” But, alas dear reader, it doesn’t stop there
Older she grew, from each month to a year, All alone, she moved from ‘here’ to ‘there’,’ Unsure of how God would answer her prayer But alas dear reader it doesn’t stop there
When she most needed, the Lord He prepared A church job designed to display her flare Little did she know she would meet him there But alas dear reader it doesn’t stop there
It wasn’t long and 2 bears became paired And out pop not 1, but 2 little bears Her love was no longer a solo affair But alas dear reader it doesn’t stop there
With 2 new lives just ‘bear’ wasn’t fair So, they bestowed her the title ‘mama bear’ “This day, I have all my love to share” But alas dear reader it doesn’t stop there
She took on this title with no time to spare She cleaned everything; every tile, every chair Just to make sure this was a home to share But alas dear reader it doesn’t stop there
Along with the cleaning, she would cook with care And she cooked til the fridge had no room to spare “Soul food” she baked and to all she would share But alas dear reader it doesn’t stop there
As the baby bears grew, their Mama took care To ensure they felt love so she’d always declare “you are precious, you are loved and I’ll always swear, “to love and be there, no matter the ‘where’”
But alas dear reader, as I made you aware This is the story that doesn’t stop there The love that we spoke of we will always declare For she will never lose the title of our Mama Bear.
The Never-Ending END.
