Marina Operative
We are seeking an enthusiastic, well presented, and friendly team member with a flexible, positive ‘can do’ attitude, ability to swim and be physically fit. Experience in use of forklift and tractors would be advantageous. The hours are 5 days per week on a rota basis and can include working some or part weekends. The role will include moving boats - launch and retrieve, hire boats when required, serving fuel from our onsite tanks, use of tractor and forklift and general maintenance and security of the site. The key requirements for this role are a full clean driving licence. You need to be a self-motivated team player but be able to work without supervision following training, have a practical, resourceful, and common-sense approach to your tasks. This is a standalone finance position which offers excellent variety and autonomy together with a high level of responsibility and trust. You will form part of the senior management team, providing both strategic financial, HR and general business support. Some of your ongoing tasks will include budgeting, forecasting, payroll, cost controls, production of monthly accounts, management of the sales and purchase ledger and ad hoc analysis and reporting. Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience at a similar level and in a stand-alone finance role. Experience in a wider general management position and knowledge and experience of HR management would be advantageous, as would experience of Sage 50. Salary £22,500 subject to experience and hours.
