Jay Leno, an acclaimed TV late night show host, a stand-up comedian, a best-selling children’s book author, a corporate speaker, a TV and movie voiceover artist, a pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist is widely characterized as the hardest working man in show business. Leno’s career began with his first appearance on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” in 1977. Leno began hosting the show full time 1992 and led the ratings for two decades. After retiring from “The Tonight Show” in 2014, Leno has continued doing stand-up comedy tours all over the country.
