What is This Girl Can? This Girl Can is a celebration of the active women who are doing their thing no matter how they do it, how they look or even how sweaty they get. It’s a national campaign developed by Sport England and a wide range of partnership organisations, to inspire more women and girls to wiggle, jiggle, move and prove that judgement is a barrier that can be overcome. The This Girl Can campaigns big day is Monday 12th January as it launches with a primetime TV advert on ITV1 – c7.45pm during Coronation Street. This advert will be around 90 seconds long. This Girl Can is not here to tell women that how they feel about exercise is wrong, the way they’re doing it is incorrect, or to guilt-trip them into taking up a sport. The campaign is here to support, encourage and enthuse women, rather than enlighten them. doing it in a fun, accessible and sassy way.
