Standards and collaboration seen as key to hydrogen development for mines Over 190 mining leaders and hydrogen developers gathered in Perth, Australia on June 18 to discuss the potential for hydrogen to fill the remaining gaps in the resource sector’s path to decarbonization. While the Australian government and industry see great domestic and export opportunities for hydrogen, it’s clear that there’s a long way ahead before these become a reality. Still, companies’ readiness to overcome intellectual property concerns and collaborate as a sector bodes well for the future of H2.
