Design Challenge: HOW TO SPRUCE UP AN ODD CORNER FIREPLACE

Pinspiration!: While eye-catching, a corner fireplace stumps a lot of home owners. You usually can’t angle furniture in front of it, or it is used as a pass-through space to get from one room to another becoming a neglected feature instead of a stand-out one.

Our solutions? Use the space for what you need while treating it as a cozy nook that beckons for a snuggled up reading or a intimate space for fireside board games. Think smaller furniture pieces such as a round side table, upholstered armchairs or pretty cushioned stools. Nestle them close to the fireplace and this forgotten corner may well become your favorite place to unwind!
