Increasingly more people are travelling to Mallorca by private jet, a factor which demonstrates the island’s ranking as a destination of the highest level. Mallorcair FBO, handles most of the private jet movements in Mallorca and since 2021, Engel & Völkers Mallorca has been collaborating with this family business.
Historic rise of private jet movements in Mallorca
In the past two years many high-net worth individuals (HNWI) opted for the additional safety and convenience of private transfers. Consequently, the number of private jet movements in Mallorca have doubled in comparison to the pre-pandemic year, as

confirmed by statistics published by the Spanish Airports Authority (AENA). Now most of the private jets landing in Palma come from Germany, England, Spain, Switzerland, and the USA.

A factor that is also associated with the spike in wealthy investors’ interest. The collaboration with Mallorcair FBO is an important step; both companies can pool synergies and provide their respective clients with comprehensive services, to meet their demands. “It’s a family business.
