The interior design is characterised by its furniture, designed especially for the new terminal, as well as the selected materials and colours. These aim to represent the island’s Mediterranean essence.

Market Report The desire to enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle is reflected in the dynamics of Mallorca’s residential real estate market. Having brokered a total transaction volume of approximately 341 million euros in the first six months of the financial year 2021, Engel & Völkers Mallorca has reached the end of the first half-year on a high note despite the ongoing pandemic (1 HY 2020: 168 million euros). “The transaction volume for real estate has doubled compared to the same period last year. We are on course for a financial year with the highest turnover in our company’s history,” says

Driving factors in this development include an increased willingness to buy in the premium segment and a shorter time period to sell properties. Between January and June 2021, the average sales price recorded by Engel & Völkers for residential properties in Mallorca was 1.68 million euros. Once again, the island has proven its status as a haven and a safe place to invest in real estate. Florian Hofer says: “Our clients trust in our 30 years of market expertise on the island and are pressing ahead with their property plans. As the travel and tourism


industry gradually returns to business as usual, real estate transactions on Mallorca are set to remain consistently high”. Die Sehnsucht nach mediterranem Lebensgefühl spiegelt sich auf dem mallorquinischen Immobilienmarkt wider. Mit einem Transaktionsvolumen von 341 Millionen Euro schließt Engel & Völkers Mallorca die ersten sechs Monate des Geschäftsjahres 2021 sehr erfolgreich ab (1. Halbjahr 2020: 168 Millionen Euro). „Das Immobilientransaktionsvolumen hat sich im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum verdoppelt. Damit blicken wir auf das umsatzstärkste Geschäftsjahr unserer Unternehmensgeschichte”, sagt Florian Hofer, Geschäftsführer von Engel & Völkers auf den Balearen. Treiber dieser Entwicklung sind die gestiegene Kaufbereitschaft im Premiumsegment, und verkürzte Vermarktungszeiten von Immobilien. Von Januar bis Juni 2021 lag der durchschnittliche von Engel & Völkers Mallorca erzielte Verkaufspreis für Immobilien bei 1,68 Millionen Euro. Die Insel hat ihren Status als Zufluchtsort und sicheren Anlagehafen für Immobilien wieder einmal bewiesen. Florian Hofer resümiert: „Unsere Kunden vertrauen in unsere 30-jährige Marktexpertise auf der Insel und setzen ihre Immobilienpläne weiter fort. Mit der sukzessiven Normalisierung der Reise- und Tourismusbranche werden sich die Immobilientransaktionen auf Mallorca weiterhin auf einem sehr hohen Niveau entwickeln.”

El deseo de disfrutar del estilo de vida mediterráneo es uno de los factores que se reflejan en la dinámica del mercado inmobiliario residencial de Mallorca. Habiendo intermediado un volumen total de transacciones inmobiliarias de aproximadamente 341 millones de euros en los primeros seis meses del ejercicio 2021, Engel & Völkers Mallorca ha llegado al final del primer semestre con una nota alta a pesar de la pandemia en curso (primer semestre de 2020: 168 millones de euros). "El volumen de transacciones de bienes inmuebles se ha duplicado en comparación con el mismo período del año pasado. Estamos en camino de un año financiero con el mayor volumen de negocios en la historia de nuestra empresa", comenta Florian Hofer, Director General de Engel & Völkers en Baleares. Los factores que impulsan este desarrollo incluyen una mayor disposición a comprar en el segmento premium y un período de tiempo más corto para vender propiedades.
