Geek out with fellow TV nerds at PaleyFest, the annual weeklong festival of exclusive episodes, clips and panel discussions with the cast and creators of the hottest TV shows. For the 2023 lineup, the slate of shows includes The Mandalorian, Yellowjackets, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Yellowstone, Abbott Elementary, Grey’s Anatomy and The Late Late Show with James Corden. Women of the West Concert Mar. 4

Lakewood Run Mar. 4

Warriors Building Healthier Communities” Deputy Sheriffs, recreational runners, families and kids will gather at the starting line in front of the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station to walk, roll, ruck or run the event’s 5K Run/ Walk/Ruck or the 10K Run course for time.

Rosemead Community Yard Sale Mar. 4

If you have things to sell, vendor applications are available at the Rosemead Community Recreation Center. Prices are $20 for one space and $30 for two spaces for residents, or $30 for one space and $45 for two spaces for non-residents. A space is equivalent to a standard parking stall. Bring the whole family and enjoy the great bargains!

The Free To Be Me Festival is a FREE community event celebrating our special needs community and their families through a series of inclusive and adaptive activities. Enjoy live sensory-friendly entertainment, arts and crafts, recreational activities, sensory play and more. A chill zone will also be available for those that need a calming space. The event is held outdoors with an indoor sensory safe space. A select number of headphones will be available for check out. Sign language interpreters will be at the stage. Stickers with phone numbers will be available for identification purposes.

Shamrock Run & Roll Virtual 5K Mar. 12-18

Participate in a virtual race through Rosemead! Participants can run, walk, or take a ride on a bike anywhere and at your own pace. All participants will receive a T-shirt and a Finisher medal in the mail at the conclusion of the event time frame. Race bibs and suggested race routes will be emailed before the start of the event. Registration fee is $20, and includes a virtual race bib, a

T-shirt, and a themed commemorative finisher medal.
