Back in 1995, searching for new double glazing to their own home, Alan and his wife Lorraine noticed a woeful lack of quality, products and service available in the area. They decided to remedy this by starting their own quality glazing and replacement window business. 25 years on and the business has gone from strength to strength, now boasting its own showroom in Bude.

“I put the secret of our success down to never compromising on quality,” says Alan, “whether it be in the materials and products we use or the high standard of workmanship we’ve become known for.” Alan and Lorraine’s son Daniel also joined the business in 2008 after completing a building apprenticeship and ualifications in window fitting. This hands on e pertise means that he is now well placed to advise and quote for work, something he does with a ‘no pressure’ approach. There’s never any obligation or deadline to decide, in line with the company’s ethos of quality, whether that be of product, sales or service.

Lorraine heads up the marketing portfolio alongside o ce manager amantha and a team of highly trained, professional glazing and building specialists, hand picked for their ualifications and skills. The company not only offers traditional double glazed windows and doors but also a full range of thermally e cient and eco friendly specialist glazings that are available to be framed in a variety of designer features such as roof lanterns, sky lights and bi folding doors. Aluminium installations have also become very popular in recent years and are now proving to have more appeal than traditional uPVC products.

As a family run business, Alan, orraine and Daniel feel they are very fortunate to be able to live and work in beautiful north Cornwall, and absolutely love helping their clients make the most of their homes here by the sea.
