Richard, who also runs Corrigan’s Mayfair and Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill in London, is delighted by the addition of the twelve original Turnkey Shepherd Huts at his exquisite country hotel. He says: ‘The shepherd huts are our new luxury accommodation at Virginia Park Lodge, and they are located beside the lake so our visitors wake up with undisrupted views of the beautiful Lough Ramor.’ Will Vickery from Blackdown Shepherd Huts, which is based in Somerset, says: ‘Richard’s guests will get the very best luxury huts from Blackdown. We’ve worked with Richard to achieve what he
envisioned with the huts and they are full of our clever solutions that make our shepherd huts unique and full of character.’ The Virginia Park Lodge Huts have oak chassis and the Blackdown signature oak cladding, oak steps, hard wood painted windows and doors, oak floor, electrics and plumbing, light switches and light fittings, fold down wall bed, oak table and storage benches, hand-made kitchen unit with oak worktop, Neff hob, integral fridge and kitchen cupboards, shower, basin and toilet. ntellectual design and embracing technology can mean growing profits – and a better quality of living. Here Melony Spencer Creative Director at award-winning design agency Spencer Swinden explores how you can leverage both to illicit growth in your business.

HOW INTELLIGENT DESIGN, TECHNOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY CAN DIRECTLY AFFECT YOUR PROFITS
As a teenager, I remember asking my late father, “What’s it all for, why do we need to earn money?” He replied, “To improve the quality of your life and the people you love.” He then suggested that I read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance where the author explored the concept of ‘Quality’. The premise that a combination of science, reasoning and technology, with creativity and intuition could bring a higher quality of life really resonated with me. Since then I have looked to these principles in inspiring my work in designing hospitality environments. At Spencer Swinden, our aim is to improve the sense of well-being of your customers in order to increase your profits. We consider your consumer’s emotions, instincts and needs because there is a valid psychology in how your customer feels and the journey they embark upon when they enter your venue. If your customer feels comfortable, contented and appreciated they are more likely to stay longer and consume more. Not only that, they are also more likely to tell others and ultimately become loyal advocates for your brand. Be aware that your customer’s experience starts even before they have set foot in the door and technology can amplify or, equally dampen, their anticipation. Social media is an imperative tool for businesses in the hospitality sector, but it needs to be managed properly in order to create a consistent and seamless customer experience.

Is our interior designed to resonate with our audience? What do you need to do stand alongside your local competitors with credibility?
This is by no means an exhaustive list but a good start in reviewing where your business is today. At Spencer Swinden we relish challenges as we see them as an opportunity for growth. If you would like to discuss a challenge you’re currently facing in your business don’t hesitate to contact us:

The 6 questions you need to ask about your op
Hotelier & Hospitality Design
By Luis De Souza, Chief Executive Officer of NFS Technology Group
10
A recent survey of performance found that restaurant and pub operating costs now stand at more than 50% of turnover.
straight from tableside to the kitchen.
And although the same survey also discovered the sector is still feeling a lot of confidence, keeping operating costs under control makes good sense for every hospitality business.
So do you know the answers to these 6 questions?
As many successful restaurants and bars have found, the answer can be surprisingly easy: restaurateurs and bar operations need to invest in a good EPoS (electronic point of sale) system. This up-to-the-minute technology helps to control every aspect of the business, all the way from maintaining viable stock levels to ordering. It’s also able to reduce labour time and costs by giving serving staff easy to use handheld devices that can send orders
Sounds attractive? Of course – but how do you determine what’s the best EPoS system for your restaurant? Naturally, you need to think hard about your business and determine the challenges that you want to overcome.
1.
Do you throw a lot of stock away? How much is it costing you every week?
2.
Do you know which of your dishes sell the best – and which ones should be knocked off your menu?
3.
Do your labour costs seem too high for the number of covers you serve every day?
4.
Do customers ever complain about slow service or getting the wrong meal?
5.
What are your busiest times –
and are they actually the most profitable? 6.
Which of your suppliers offer you the best prices on a regular basis?
If you don’t have a good EPoS system like Aloha from NFS, chances are you either don’t know the answers to some of the questions – or if you do, you can’t say what the reasons behind them might be. Technology has made a fantastic response to the changing needs of today’s challenging restaurant environment, and the best EPoS systems for restaurants can provide major benefits. Restaurants and bars are dealing with a shift in diner spending patterns. They are seeing a rise in popularity of casual dining experiences – an average diner is now only in a dining outlet for 45 minutes. Competition is also on the increase from outlets using delivery services including
perating costs
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
Can your EPoS system capture data that will help you improve your supply chain and stock ordering choices, identifying dishes that are selling well? Can your staff use dedicated handheld devices, iPads or mobiles to take orders with this system? Does the EPoS enable orders and payments to be taken tableside so your staff do not waste time walking around? Does the system integrate with a kitchen automation system so your chefs can begin fulfilling orders when they are sent from tableside? Will it integrate with other systems such as accounting, as well? Which businesses like yours use the system – are there testimonials?
EPoS systems are available to suit any size of restaurant or hotel; some can be provides as web-based enterprise systems accessible anywhere with an internet connection. This is useful when you have a group of hotels or bars to run, and reduces the duplication of technology and roles in different locations. Any data the EPoS collects should be accessible as comprehensive reports to provide an end-to-end view of operations in your organisation, no matter its size. EPoS can even help with difficult areas including fraud prevention – unusual behaviours can be easily spotted because transactions are tracked – and table management. Capturing guests’ data also means a restaurant can devise targeted marketing campaigns to will appeal to different preferences. The best EPoS systems for restaurants
even alert restaurant managers that a diner is posting adverse social media reviews so you can address issues before diners leave your establishment. CAU restaurants have used Aloha EPoS for ten years and plan to roll out the system as the group grows, according to Estates and Property manager Colin Williams. He says: “It’s definitely saving us money in terms of time, efficiency and capturing data so we can identify trends. It’s amazing for stock control – one of our biggest challenges - and it integrates well with our other platforms. “Our market is constantly changing, and Aloha helps us keep up with that. In all, it helps us deliver a slicker service.” That’s a great recommendation for the capabilities of state-of-the-art EPoS.

LEDIFICE with Photocell
Lumena Lights
Hotelier & Hospitality Design
Professional Bollard and Path Light specialists Lumena Lights Ltd. supply quality outdoor lighting to hospitality establishments including Boutique Hotels, Resorts and Golf Hotels. Commercial ranges are exclusive or not widely available, and are perfectly suited to locations where appearance and safety matter.
12
Products accommodate replaceable LED bulbs so if long-life LEDs fail, only the bulb is replaced, not the entire unit. The ‘replaceable’ factor keeps maintenance to a minimum and allows many lighting effect options. A warmer, decorative light may be required, or perhaps a bright white light for a specific route. Lumena’s Photocell ‘Dusk to Dawn’ bollards have an inbuilt sensor to switch the light on at dusk and off when light. This fully automated system means lights are never left on in daylight and ensures secure illumination at night. This saves money and maintenance time. ‘LEDifice’ bollard heads are designed to accommodate the supplied, large 20W LED ‘Corn’ bulb. This exceptional bulb offers instant bright light (2100 Lumens) ideal for photocell use, unlike metal halide or SON lamps which ‘warm up’. The expected 30,000 hour life reduces maintenance, with the likelihood of lasting over 10 years if used 8 hours per day, and costing as little as £12.00 PER YEAR to run. There are various heights and head designs, in a Graphite Black or Garden Green finish, plus In-Ground versions for extra secure installation.
Litetower with LED Bulb Two cutting-edge alternatives to heavy-duty bollards are ‘Airlite’ and ‘Litetower’, crafted from strong 3mm thick ‘Anodised Aluminium’. This weatherproof, noncorrosive material is well-suited to bad weather or coastal environments. A robust protective layer is formed over the polished surface which lasts indefinitely. It looks like highgrade Stainless Steel, but costs a fraction of the price. The Airlite’s solid crystal glass head ‘bubble-effect’ is pleasing in daylight, and beautiful at night. It acts as a standard path light and as an uplighter - if placed beneath trees the effect is amazing! LED bulbs are accommodated, and dichroic coloured lenses create amazing colours! The Litetower’s specially designed head accommodates LED bulbs from candle size, up to large 20w LED ‘Corn bulbs’ for areas where bright light is required. There is an internal mirrored reflector and frosted glass diffuser to soften the light. Big data is set to transform restaurant operations beyond recognition
W
hilst big data analytics has transformed the way almost every other industry optimises their product and service offering, the restaurant industry still relies on outmoded spot check surveys to track operational performance. Consider two examples. A major factor in the continued growth of Airbnb is their access to, and use of data. They optimise their website and apps using analytics to actively monitor every aspect of their product. Simultaneously they run a system that allows both venues and customers to constantly share their experiences, which helps improve their service. At the same time a restaurant is left to use mystery dining spot checks to get the views of a couple of paid reviewers on their service, and for their core product – food, they have to rely a small amount of anecdotal feedback from person or via sites like TripAdvisor. Service information is limited and product information is almost entirely missing. The little information restaurants can get is often misleading. Asking a couple of mystery diners their thoughts doesn’t tell you what the hundreds of authentic customers are thinking or experiencing. The same problem applies to using sites like TripAdvisor, which collects a small number of extreme views, or email surveys that collect responses from a specific type of customer too long after the meal itself. The difference is substantial.
Whereas every decision a company like Airbnb makes is based on data insight and ideas can be rapidly tested, for restaurants, development and investment decisions on new dishes, new menus and even new sites, is still based primarily on instinct and gut feel. The financial risks for restaurants, as well as the effects on repeat rates and new bookings are significant. It doesn’t have to be this way. We are delivering big data to the restaurant industry. For a typical client restaurant Yumpingo collects and analyses feedback from 5,000% more customers than TripAdvisor and 3,000% more than post-dining surveys every month. That changes everything. Restaurant operators can now see exactly how their service and food (at a dish level) is performing for every venue, every day and on every service. More customers are engaged, leave happy, tell others and return. Restaurant owners can now also access actionable insights to better manage their current and future estate with more certainty, less financial risk, greater consistency and more operational control. Big data analytics from genuine guests is set to transform the way the restaurant industry operates, beyond recognition. Yumpingo is at the heart of this change. If any of this resonates with you as an operator it would be great to hear from you and get your feedback on how our platform can help your business.

What’s the point of capturing data unless you plan to use it? CRM is probably the most used and abused phrase in marketing right now. At Adactus, our Data Know How team use the following definition: CRM is a customer-centric model that allows businesses to manage customer relationships based on the insights gained from data. It is a serious, strategic, marketing approach in which decision-making is based on hard facts - not “gut instinct” or in-built prejudice. It is not fluffy. It is the appliance of data for maximum commercial gain. Brands need to treat customers in the most appropriate way, specific to them. With the advent of digital, and in particular mobile, the world has moved from broadcast to narrowcast communication. One size does not fit all. If the Marketing Department is your communication engine room, data is the fuel. Turning data into insight requires a blend of technical analysis and marketing skills. Our Data Know How team is made up of expert database programmers, data analysts and marketing professionals. We know what we are looking for in your data and are programmed to deliver commercial results. We can help you segment your customers based on behaviour (recency, frequency and value) and lifestyle & life-stage characteristics. We’ll identify the most profitable customers, the most loyal, those most likely to defect to the competition, which products they buy (and don’t), their satisfaction with your brand. With this insight, you can talk to customers in a language they can relate to, with messages and offers relevant to them, retaining their custom. And on top of that, if you know what type of people most appreciate your brand, you can go and find more like them.
Hotelier & Hospitality Design
Mike Pearce, Director of Data Know How at Adactus, is proud of the results his team has delivered for clients. But he’s also concerned that many hotel and restaurant brands are yet to realise the value of their data, barely scratching the surface of its potential:
18
“Our approach has helped brands in the restaurant and hotel sectors get much closer to their customers, demonstrably improving commercial performance and marketing ROI. If you’re still looking at data analytics as a cost rather than a revenue stream – we really need to talk!“

Driving profits from parking spaces: maximise yield from your hotel car park Finding sources of ancillary revenue is becoming increasingly important in the hotel industry. Everincreasing competition and financial ups and downs have lead to mounting pressure on hoteliers to come up with innovative new ways to supplement room revenues.
Hotelier & Hospitality Design
One of the largest sources of potential income is your hotel car park. Parking can be a lucrative business for hotels - yet it is a revenue stream which remains largely untapped, despite being easy to profit from with the right solution.
28
Most hotels have spare spaces in their car park at off-peak times, or even the majority of the time if guests travel by other means. Similarly, car parking prices are rarely updated, with little focus on maximising the revenue from parking. Empty spaces are a missed opportunity - and yield from your car park should be managed just as closely as that from your rooms.
An increasing number of hotels are now using JustPark to maximise their parking revenue. Using industry-leading technology and a unique data-driven approach, JustPark are experts in parking yield management - filling previously unused spaces with targeted marketing to a large user base, and driving higher returns from hotel car parks through dynamic pricing. Over 300 hotels across the UK (including Marriott, Hilton, Premier Inn and Holiday Inn) use JustPark’s award-winning solution to manage their car parks more effectively enjoying increased revenue and guest satisfaction as a result (with the service rated 96% by users). By reaching 1.5 million users via its app and website, JustPark can fill hotel car parks easier than any parking operator. Hoteliers have total flexibility to accommodate any guest and staff requirements including increased volume due to conferences and events. JustPark’s dynamic pricing engine (winner of the British Parking Awards 2017) generates optimum daily rates based on demand - and increases hotel parking revenues
by up to 100%. The flexible tariff system is easy to implement and managed by the JustPark team.

Booking a meeting room online can be just as simple as booking a bedroom
W
hy does it seem so difficult to book a meeting room? I can book almost any type of bedroom on a hotel's website but it is rare to be able to book a simple meeting room with some refreshments without entering into a complicated contract. The ability to book a meeting room as quick and easy as a hotel bedroom seems hard to find.
Hotelier & Hospitality Design
When we spoke to industry colleagues, they told us not to worry; technology will make meetings obsolete; social media, video conferencing, conference calls are the way forward. We disagree…
30
There are some things that are just better face to face, things tend to get done, stuff happens. You can read body language, you tend to get a greater level of participation (who knows what level of multi-tasking is going on during a voice conference call!); and we get a chance to remind ourselves that it is just great to meet people! We can do almost anything on our smart phones but book a space to have a meeting in a professional location at short notice? Not
as slick as we thought. Not as easy as a pizza or a restaurant table… Why can’t we just make it simple? Everything else has moved on, where is the platform for meeting rooms? This was part of a blog we wrote a few years back, fast forward to 2017 and we are now launching Kruto at Hotel Tech Live. We decided there must be a way of providing a simple, low cost platform that can power this? Give a total technology solution that enables you to reach out to your market as you know best and enable them to book a meeting room swiftly, secure payment and communicate with them throughout the journey, maximising upselling opportunities? Now there is! Kruto is a simple but powerful tool providing a modern booking solution for small meeting spaces. This can be in the form of a branded booking app for super-fast intuitive bookings and/or simply a booking link off your website...You can replace contact forms with live bookings. Imagine how much admin you can save, managing your smaller meeting space online.
Directly on your own website and completely commission free. You can drive direct bookings and repeat custom by being the easiest to do business with, delivering the best hospitality. We also offer automation beyond booking with a Digital Signage option and integration to a QR code meeting room access / door locking solution for a total meetings experience. For anyone interested in Kruto you can sign up for a free 30 day trial at the show. We cant wait to meet you and talk about Kruto, a cool new way of connecting customers to your meeting space. We are simple, slick & lightening quick.

DAWNFRESH TROUT GIVEN ROYAL ENDORSEMENT Trout from Scotland was given the Royal stamp of approval when the £3.1m. expansion of RR Spink & Sons facility in Arbroath was official opened by HRH The Princess Royal. The company, which is part of Dawnfresh Seafoods, is one of the UK’s largest processors of seafood. It uses trout farmed on sites in Argyll to deliver the highest quality of products for top retailers such as M&S and Sainsbury’s. The 170-strong team in Arbroath prepares every product by hand – from curing and smoking to slicing and finishing – producing around 170,000 packets of fish a week. Dawnfresh employs over 30 staff in farming fish which is then sent
for processing to Arbroath and Uddingston, Lanarkshire, as well as being exported abroad as whole fish. Quality and care are of prime importance to consumers and everyone at Dawnfresh is proud to have been endorsed by RSPCA Assured for its sustainably farmed trout. The Princess was shown around the facility by Alastair Salvesen chairman of Dawnfresh. During her visit, she witnessed how products were made, from the arrival of the ingredients to the finished product being despatched to supermarkets and other outlets across the UK. Commenting on the visit, farming
director Stewart Hawthorn said: “high quality seafood is something for which Scotland is famous and our new unit processes fish grown at our sites in Argyll, some of which will end up on the plates of Her Majesty The Queen and her guests. “I am very proud that Dawnfresh gets to showcase its product around the world as well as to senior members of the Royal Family,” he added.

How Hotels And B&B’s Can Attract Families For School Holidays For More information go to www.hotel-magazine. co.uk/hotels-bbs-can-attract-families-school-holidays
What exactly makes your hotel stand out against the rest? On average, consumers visit 38 different websites when planning a trip and before making a booking, so failing to advertise yourself as a family-orientated hotel could result in yours being overlooked. With this in mind, here are five ways hoteliers and B&B owners can attract families for the school holidays: Advertise Local Activities Although your hotel might be the cheapest, failing to advertise nearby amenities and activities could result
in fewer bookings. In fact, 73% of holiday makers believe location is the most influential and important factor in determining where they stay. Remember – guests aren’t guaranteed to spend the entirety of their time at your hotel. Advertising local amenities on your website is essential during a consumer’s initial research stage. To do this you could set up a dedicated landing page, a PDF download or an interactive map: it would also be beneficial to provide this material physically once your guests have arrived as an added service. Highlighting family-orientated activities nearby will make your business appear more familyfriendly and therefore increase your chances of receiving larger family bookings. Fowey Hall Hotel
have achieved this by creating a landing page on their website dedicated to showcasing nearby attractions. They have featured a brief description of the attraction’s location with a ‘Read More’ box to enable potential guests to find out more information, such as directions and opening times. You could take it one step further and collaborate with local businesses and offer activity packages alongside your hotel packages. For example biking break packages that include the hire of mountain bikes or road bikes (either the hotel’s own or from your local bike hire shop), helmets, packed lunches or a special deal with local pubs orplanned routes and maps that highlight places of interest on route.

Now the summer season has arrived, families will inevitably be looking to book their muchneeded summer holidays; meaning peak season has arrived for hotels and B&B owners.

Scanomat, founders of the revolutionary TopBrewer coffee machine, have launched an innovative stand-alone juice tap called TopJuicer.
Juice tap freshens up hotel breakfast service
T
he minimal footprint and stylish appearance of the TopJuicer is ideal for hotels, cafes and restaurants looking to serve a range of fresh, healthy beverages in a fast, clean and efficient manner.
Simon Bracken, Managing Director & Co-Founder of Scanomat UK said: “With TopJuicer we have completely reimagined juice machine design to offer a cutting-edge alternative way to serve juice in busy, self-service environments. The TopJuicer concept allows operators to present juice in an entirely innovative and disruptive way that will delight and surprise consumers, whilst satisfying growing demand for healthier drink options.”
No queues, no mess, no fuss. The TopJuicer makes the perfect accompaniment for self-service breakfast buffets and conference refreshment points as a contemporary alternative to tabletop machines or refillable juice jugs. The bagin-box juice rack is hidden under the surface, leaving the counter clutter and mess free. The aesthetically stunning swan neck dispenses up to 3 different types of juice, plus chilled water, with the option to add sparkling variations through a modular undercounter unit. The TopJuicer tap is height adjustable and swivels to allow for total flexibility of service. It is also possible to tailor to specific glass sizes as required. Each drink is dispensed within seconds with the ability to serve up to 300 glasses per hour! From an operational perspective, the TopJuicer is really simple to clean and maintain, simply attach a new bag-in-box when the juice is running low. The system cleans itself between each drink to ensure optimum hygiene levels and zero crosscontamination of juices. “Juice is often overlooked in hotel breakfast areas,” adds Simon. “I have seen many examples where the juice area has become messy and sticky, often with jugs left unreplenished. The TopJuicer removes a lot of manual labour and looks good to complement the rest of the breakfast service. The minimal design lends itself perfectly to an island setting to provide a modern juice bar destination.”
Still & Sparkling The innovative TopJuicer can serve a range of different juices and smoothies, including orange juice, apple juice and cranberry juice. The optional sparkling unit adds a new dimension to the drinks menu by providing deliciously refreshing sparkling juices and water on tap.
App-control The TopJuicer is kept up to date with the latest technology and is entirely app-controlled. Guests operate the TopJuicer by selecting their drink from an accompanying iPad or tablet. Alternatively, users can download the free TopBrewer app and connect to an available machine. The app connects automatically via bluetooth low energy connection and the machine dispenses the selected drink within seconds! To find out more visit www.scanomat.co.uk

EBEDDING LAUNCHES TRADE WEBSITE FOR THE HOSPITALITY SECTOR Deep Sleep Pillows
Egyptian Cotton Duvet
Premium bedding company eBedding has launched a new website for the trade that boasts the largest range of bedding brands, and is specifically designed for the hospitality sector. Products include quality pillows, duvets, bedding, toppers and protectors from household name brands including Silentnight, Sealy, Dreamland and Sound Asleep, ensuring that guests feel well-rested while away from home.
Hotelier & Hospitality Design
The website has been designed to provide a user friendly experience, with quick and simple navigation and functionality.

Paul Coulter, Managing Director for eBedding, says: “We recognised that hoteliers and B&B owners have a keen eye for detail and that there was demand for a solid platform providing a wide range of multi-functional products. This is because it’s imperative that hoteliers have the means to provide top quality bedding, from well-known brands they trust, that work through the seasons, match service levels and fit every eventuality. “Whether travelling for business or leisure, guests are more discerning than ever, seeking beautiful, plush bedding that offers a boutique experience but can also help regulate their
temperature throughout the year, while easing any allergies. A great night’s sleep is a key indicator of the quality of accommodation and it’s this attention to detail that will persuade people to make that all-important first reservation and repeat booking.” eBedding duvets come in a wide range of tog values and are filled with everything from luxurious duck down to silky smooth Serica® fibres from Du Pont® and temperature regulating hollowfibre. Sizes range from cot-size duvets right up to Super Kings, all created with the same commitment to quality. eBedding also has one of the most comprehensive pillow ranges in the UK, including feather and down and hypo-allergenic hollowfibre pillows and specialist anti-allergy and anti-snore pillows, all available as branded or white label products.

Hotel Amenities accommodation knowing that it was eco-friendly. “It’s important for our customers to know that the products they’re specifying have been produced in an environmentally friendly way and there is a great opportunity for them to convey this to the end user as part of their eco credentials.
Go Beyond Sustainable Business Practices Hoteliers are switching on to the value of adopting sustainable practices within their businesses, using this as a compelling message to communicate to today’s environmentally friendly consumers but also to cut down on operating costs. “But it’s important that hoteliers take a stance on sustainability beyond their own operations and strengthen their consumer message further by looking at their entire supply chain,” says Sara Nolan Sales Manager for The Fine Bedding Company Hospitality Division. The Fine Bedding Company has released new figures relating to the production of its entire product range designed especially for the hospitality sector, demonstrating how it’s leading the industry in environmentally friendly practices. It has revealed that • 100% of the energy used to produce its synthetic duvets and pillows comes from certified renewable sources • Compared to the industry

standard, it has a 19% lower carbon footprint on its duvet production 94% of waste from its production facility in 2016 was recycled into ‘use’ and ‘energy’ Its Spundown duvet uses up to 30% less fibre than the market average to produce the same tog rating (but still delivering loft)
The Fine Bedding Company Hospitality Division produces all of its synthetic duvets and pillows in their state of the art facility that has been awarded Eco Factory status and last year was named Estonian Environmentally Friendly Business of the Year. Sara Nolan says “Over the past few years, we’ve recognised the positive eco measures that hotel operators are taking as part of their CSR (corporate social responsibility) policies. “Simultaneously, consumer awareness and demand for eco-friendly accommodation is on the rise, with a recent report claiming that 68 per cent of hotel guests are more likely to consider
In addition to green production credentials, The Fine Bedding Company also offers hoteliers some of the most easy to wash products on the market, which in turn helps businesses reduce their laundering costs. Sara Nolan comments, “Many hotels are recognising the benefits of using bedding that can be washed in-house, and we’re able to supply products that meet this need with our Spundown collection.” It isn’t just the synthetic product range that comes with industry leading accreditations. The Fine Bedding Company and Nimbus natural ranges are setting industry standards in quality assurances regarding the traceability of their natural feather and down fillings. Both of these brands carry globally recognised quality assurances, full IDFL certification and also the Downpass seal, that that certifies no live plucking or force feeding practices occur, and products are traced from parent farms to finished product. “Some of our customers include Intercontinental London O2, City Apartments, Motel One, who all report huge cost savings without compromising on quality.”

The greatest benefit, however, is flavour. Synergy Grills get hotter than average chargrills. Heat ‘atomises’ the natural fats that are released during cooking which are misted back into food making it incredibly succulent.
