It’s free in public schools through high school. Q: Are all children in public schools? A: No, they aren’t. Eighty-eight percent of children are in public schools.
Nine percent are in private schools. Private schools aren’t free. Q: What about the other 3 percent? A: 3 percent are homeschooled. The parents are the children’s teachers. Q: How many months a year are students in school? A: They’re in school for 10 months a year. Q: What’s a freshman?
A: A freshman is a student in the first year of high school or college.
