want always to see the monkeys. Carter likes the snakes too, but Sophie doesn’t likes them. She crys if we

The kids always want to go to the Museum of Science. They find many interesting things to do there,
but it’s very expensive. My sister sometimes asks me, “How much cost the tickets?” but I doesn’t tell her. I
want to pay for everyone because they’re my guests.
My brother-in-law enjoys baseball, so I usually take him to a baseball game. I not like baseball very
much, but I go with him anyway. I’m always bored at baseball games.

WRITING TIP
Before you start writing, you should think about different ways to address a topic. This is called brainstorming. If you are writing about an interesting place in your city or another city you know, for example, consider three different places before responding to the prompt. Ask and answer questions to gather information about each place, such as:
Where is this place? Why is it interesting? Are there any other places like this in the world? The answers to these questions will help you choose one place to write about.
PART 3 Write
Read the prompts. Choose one and write one paragraph about it. 1. Write about an interesting place in your city or in another city you know about. 2. Write about how you celebrate New Year’s Eve.
