More popular way Say the minutes first ant then the hours. Another possibility of saying “thirty past” is “half past”. Half past seven

Another possibility of saying “fifteen to” is “a quarter to”. A quarter to eight
Use o’clock at the full hour 7:00 Seven o’clock 8:00 Eight o’clock For times: 00:00 you can use the expression midnight 12:00 you can use the expressions midday or noon. Where necessary you can use the expressions: in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, at night. More formal expressions to indicate whether a time is before noon or after noon are: a.m. and p.m. *Use these expressions only with the first way of telling the time, for example: 3:15 Three fifteen a.m. American English Beside past Americans often use after, for example: Ten after six 6:10 Ten past six ‼ But, in time expressions with half past it is not usual to replace past by after Besides to Americans often use before or till, for example: Ten before six Ten till six 5:50 Ten to six http://www.ego4u.com/en/cram-up/vocabulary/time
