In past years with energy similar to this year lets look back and see how this energy was enjoyed as far as historical success. In the year 1916 Albert Einstein completed his "theory of relativity". 1934 marked the "First New Deal" which was the first big step toward ending the Great Depression which was from 1920 through 1940.
Help is there from Universal energy this year to boost you in the area of your personal finances and abilities to gain success. How you can best use this energy now becomes more personal. This is how it works. Each one of us has what is called "Personal Year Energy". This energy or a little extra boost should be a significant help if used wisely. To make the best use of your own energy you must have information. To find your own Personal Year you just need to do a little simple math. The formula is the number of the month you were born added to the number of the day you were born plus this years' 8. So, if you were born on January 1st for instance you would add 1+1+8 which is 10. Reduce your answer to a single digit which in this case is 1+0=1 and this single digit is your Personal Year Energy. As another example, if you were born on December 31st you would then add 12+31+8=51. Reducing this down to a single digit would be 5+1=6 with 6 as your Personal Year Energy in 2015.
Chart will give you the meaning of your own number and how it relates to the 8 energy of the year 2015. Add your month and day to 8 and then look up the single digit you find in the following chart.

ROCKCREEK, Ore. (UPI) - An Oregon man said he is searching for his girlfriend’s cat after he mistakenly sold a box spring that the feline was using as a hiding place. Roy Dufek of Rockcreek said in a Reddit post he was selling two bed sets for his girlfriend while she was at work last week and he did not realize until later that his girlfriend’s cat, Camo, had apparently been hiding inside a box spring he strapped to the top of a buyer’s car. Dufek, who was in the process
of moving when he sold the items, said the man who purchased the bed set allowed him to search his house, but there was no sign of Camo. The man said he had heard unusual noises while affixing the box spring to the top of his car. Dufek said his posts on Reddit and Craigslist have resulted in an outpouring of support and offers of assistance, but so far there have been no confirmed Camo sightings. “People have told us stories of their cat that was gone a few months, or a month, and found the way home. So that gives us hope,”

He said he took home the steakhouse gift card, but it also came with a valuable lesson. “Eggnog: not ideal for the lungs,” Roche said. “Not only do I get a Ruth’s Chris gift card, but I got a three night’s stay in the hospital.” DETROIT, MI - Being on the “naughty list” just got a little tougher, at least in Detroit where a man dressed as jolly old Saint Nick unloaded on two hapless souls at a gas station. Because apparently reindeer run on unleaded and even Santa can’t go to Detroit without packing heavy. Detroit police officials confirmed that the two victims were recovering from gunshot wounds following the incident. The festively dressed gunman, who is now in custody, told officers that he felt threatened after arguing with the pair and shot both men. “An individual who was dressed as Santa and two other individuals got into some kind of confrontation,” said Officer Adam Madera. “Two of the individuals went to their vehicle; they believe that Santa felt maybe that they were going to get a weapon. He then shot these individuals.” Madera said that two off-
duty officers in the area engaged in a short foot chase with the suspect and directed him to an onduty officer who made the arrest. The suspect’s name was not immediately released, but if you didn’t get any presents on Christmas morning it probably means the name was Kringle. CLEARWATER, Fla. (UPI) - A west Florida woman faces felony assault charges after she reportedly attacked her grandmother for denying a Facebook friend request. Deputies arrested Rachel Anne Hayes, 27, early Thursday for aggravated battery on an elderly person. According to authorities, Hayes slapped the 72-year-old multiple times at a home in Clearwater, Fla. WFLA reports the woman was Hayes’ grandmother and that Hayes’ arrest affidavit indicated alcohol was a factor in the assault. The attack allegedly stemmed from an argument between the two over Hayes’ Facebook moniker. Hayes’ grandmother refused to accept her friend request unless the name was changed, according to authorities. Hayes initially left the residence but returned, and in the ensuing argument she slapped her grandmother multiple times at the threshold of a door before the elderly woman was able to retreat inside. Deputies arrived on scene and arrested Hayes, who was released from the Pinellas County jail on $10,000 bond. Hayes’ jail records show prior arrests for

alcohol related incidents, including a DUI last year, violation of probation in relation to the DUI and a September charge of disorderly conduct for urinating in public. SHERIDAN, Wyo. (UPI) - Authorities in Wyoming said a man was shot in the arm when his dog stepped on a loaded gun in the back seat of his pickup truck. Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek said Richard Fipps, 46, of Sheridan, was standing next to his pickup truck Monday when his dog climbed from the front seat to the back seat and stepped on the loaded .300 Winchester Magnum, which did not have its safety activated. The gun fired off a round that struck Fipps in the left arm, Kozisek said. Kozisek said evidence from the scene and statements from two employees who were working with Fipps at the time of the incident support Fipps’ version of events. Authorities said Fipps’ injury is not considered lifethreatening, but there is a chance he could lose his arm. Like the comedian Jim Gaffigan pointed out, a lot of our holiday traditions seem like the actions of a drunk. Who chops down a tree and drags it inside their house (without drinking a 12 pack of beer and a half pint of whiskey first)? But our holiday oddities seem quaint and homey compared to some of the bizarre things they do to celebrate Christmas around the

world. In Catalonia, families gather around the “caga tio,” a log that’s decorated with a cartoon face and plied with treats in the weeks before Christmas. On Christmas day, the children sing a song and beat the log with sticks until it ‘poops’ out presents (caga is the Catalonian equivalent of ‘caca,’ and means ‘pooping’). In Austria, the Christmas season kicks off on Dec. 5 with Krampusnacht Krampus, St. Nick’s demonic polar opposite, is a goat-horned devil that shakes fistfuls of rusty chains at passing children. According to legend, naughty kids are snatched by Krampus and dragged to his mountain lair. In more recent years, the custom has morphed into a sort of Halloween in December, giving people a chance to dress up and parade around in their ghoulish costumes. In the Netherlands, the Dutch add a little fear to their holiday celebrations with Zwarte Piet. In a rather racist custom that has persisted to this day, Zwarte Piet, or Black Peter, is Santa’s slave who abducts Dutch children that misbehave, taking them back to Spain, where it is said that Santa and Peter spend their off-season. In a scene many Americans would find shocking, the Dutch dress up as Black Peter, donning black face and Afro wigs, in order to accompany Santa. So don’t be too critical if Dad dressed up at Santa this year and smelled a little like scotch and cigarettes. It could be a lot worse.

RENO COLLIER
A FORMER P.E. TEACHER, WEST VIRGINIA NATIVE RENO COLLIER HAS ENDEARED HIMSELF TO A WIDE RANGE OF AUDIENCES FROM COLLEGE STUDENTS TO CHURCH SOFTBALL TEAMS. WITH A CONTAGIOUS LAUGH AND FRIENDLY, ALMOST INTOXICATING DEMEANOR, RENO'S OBSERVATIONS OFTEN FIND HIM RECALLING MISHAPS OF HIS WEST VIRGINIA COUSINS, HIS SCOTTISH HERITAGE, UNRULY IN-LAWS AND ALIEN ABDUCTIONS.
JANUARY 9 & 10
ROB SCHNEIDER
HIS COMBINATION OF SELF-DEPRECATING HUMOR AND GOOFBALL ANTICS EARNED HIM RAVE REVIEWS, AND HE WAS SOON OPENING FOR THE LIKES OF JAY LENO AND JERRY SEINFELD. SCHNEIDER GOT HIS BIG BREAK IN 1990, WHEN SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE PRODUCER LORNE MICHAELS HIRED HIM ON AS A WRITER FOR THE SHOW. SOON, HE WAS PERFORMING HIS OWN MATERIAL AND WAS A CAST REGULAR UNTIL 1994 WHEN HE LEFT TO PURSUE HIS FILM CAREER.
JANUARY 15-18
KRISTIN KEY
KRISTIN KEY SEEMS LIKE ANY OTHER SWEET, SEXY, WELL-BEHAVED PREACHER’S DAUGHTER… UNTIL SHE OPENS HER MOUTH. HER FEARLESS STYLE OF COMEDY HAS EARNED HER THE TITLE “THE PREACHER’S KID GONE WILD.” . KRISTIN WAS ONE OF THE FINALISTS ON LAST SEASONS LAST COMIC STANDING ON NBC.
JANUARY 22-25
RICKY MOKEL

Cowboys Shit Into Playoff Mode
With the Dallas Cowboys leading their hated NFC East rivals Washington Redskins, 20-7, on a Dan Bailey field goal in the second quarter, Cowboy head coach Jason Garrett called a play that summed up his attitude about a supposedly “meaningless game. His team had come to the nation’s capital to play football. Garrett called for an onside kick that was a perfectly executed catching Washington completely by surprise. Dallas safety Barry Church easily recovered the ball. With a pro-Cowboy crowd chanting “Let’s go Cowboys!” the team did just that. Six plays after the recovery, running back DeMarco
Murray capped off 49-yard drive with a slicing 9-yard run through a bewildered Redskins defense. This division rival had cost Garrett’s team home field advantage and a first round bye earlier in the season with an improbable 20-17 overtime win in Jerry World. They were not going to slow down the momentum that was driving this team into the playoffs. The “21st Century Triplets” – Dez Bryant, Tony Romo and Murray – made their predecessors proud in this game. Bryant’s two brilliant touchdown receptions in the first quarter set the tone for the game. After the Redskins had jumped to a ENIGMA
surprising 7-3 lead on the strength of DeSean Jackson’s 69-yard catch and run for a score, Bryant took it upon himself to return the favor. On the ensuing drive, the wide receiver took a quick out pass from Romo, stiff-armed the defender and raced 65 yards to the end zone for the lead. It was a jawdropping play that demonstrated just how physical, and fast, the dangerous receiver has become. After a quick three and out, it was time for the DeMarco Murray show. It started with a ten-yard pass reception from Tony Romo. Two rush plays by the back netted nine yards. On third and one, with Washington stacking the line,

Romo again handed off to NFL’s leading rusher who found a gap behind two of his All-Pro linemen, center Travis Frederickson and guard Zack Martin, for 32 yards. In the process, he broke Emmitt Smith’s 19-year old record for most rushing yards in a season. Dez Bryant would cap this record shattering drive when he made a spectacular 23-yard touchdown grab on the next play. It was Bryant’s 16th TD reception of the year breaking the franchise mark of 15 set by Terrell Owens in 2007. It also solidified the player’s hold as the NFL’s leading touchdown receiver. The Cowboys scored on their first
five drives to build a 27-10 lead. It would have been six straight drives if running back Lance Dunbar’s nifty 76-yard touchdown run had not been called back on a holding penalty by tight end Jason Witten. In the second half, it was time for the Dallas defense to take its turn in the spotlight. After a two-yard run by Robert Griffin III made the score 27-17, linebacker Bruce Carter made his presence known as he intercepted the ball twice deep inside Cowboy territory to nullifying key scoring drives. DeMarco Murray was finally pulled from the contest deep in Washington territory after his four-yard run gave the back 100 yards for the day. It was the 12th time the All-Pro had reached the century mark breaking Emmitt Smith’s mark also set back in 1995. The Cowboys settled for a field goal. It was time to rest the starters.
Dallas defensive tackle Terrell McClain stripped Griffin of the ball on the Washington 5-yard line on their next possession. The pigskin landed perfectly in teammate Anthony Spencer’s hands for his first ever NFL touchdown. With just over two minutes left in the contest, RGIII tried to lead his team on a face-saving scoring drive and looked like he might succeed. Unfortunately, receiver Jordan Reed fumbled the ball after getting a first down. Dallas safety J.J. Wilcox recovered. On the next play, Cowboy QB Josh Weeden handed the ball off to Joseph Randall who broke through a blitzing Redskin secondary for a 65 yard touchdown run and the final score, 44-17. On this record franchise setting day, there was little to celebrate inside the Cowboy locker room other than a job well-done. The team, said Jason Garrett, had set its sights on a higher goal. ENIGMA
Coow C wbboy Notes – Many sports pundits were saying Dallas had nothing to play for against the Redskins. Jason Garrett knew differently. Back in 2007, his first season as offensive coordinator, the Cowboys went into their last game of the year against Washington sporting a 13-2 record, home field advantage throughout the playoffs and a first round bye. The team had nothing to play for and many players sat out the game. Washington’s second-string quarterback Todd Collins led the Redskins to a 27-6 victory. Dallas rushed for a franchise low 1 yard in the game. Two weeks later – after Romo and Witten had jetted off to Cabo San Lucas during the bye week – the Cowboys were defeated by eventual Super Bowl champions the New York Giants. This loss extended the Cowboys drought of playoff wins to eleven years and tied the NFL record of 6 straight playoff games lost. This all happened despite the fact Dallas had 13 players named to the Pro Bowl,

an NFL record. The Cowboys have become the sixth team to go undefeated on the road since the NFL went to a 16game schedule. The previous five teams all went to their respective conference championship games. Four of those teams played in the Super Bowl. Don’t think for one minute that Jason Garrett wasn’t aware of that stat going into the Washington game. For the first time in 21 years, the Dallas Cowboys finished up their most troublesome month, December, with a 4-0 record. The offense average 41 points per contest and outscored opponents 16579. The offense finished the regular season scoring 467 points, the second highest in franchise history. Tony Romo has thrown only nine interceptions this year to go with his 34 touchdown tosses.

Colts Look to Playoffs Titans Look to 2015
2014 mercifully came to an end Sunday for the Tennessee Titans. Sunday the Titans lost their tenth in a row and 14 out of 15. Good riddance might be more apt. The Titans put up a descent fight against the division winning Indianapolis Colts but even they took it easy on them y benching their marquee players at the half. The Colts walked away with a 2710 win ending the regular season.
traded players as the Titans had their worst season since the early ‘80s when they won a combined six games over a three year stretch. The coach is safe. This is his first year at the helm and he has had success everywhere he’s been as an offensive coordinator and briefly as head coach of the Cardinals where he took them to their first Super Bowl six years ago.
Look for an all new Titans team next season as coach Ken Wisenhunt pretty much alluded to in his post game conference. Over the coming months there will be a lot of unemployed and
A lot of changes need to come first to the defense. The Titans went from averaging just under 24 points allowed per game to 28 points a game this season. The 2014 Titans defense ranked 27th ENIGMA
overall dropping from 14th the season before. Many of the stats are similar between 2013 and 14 with the exception of turnovers. They went from forcing 24 fumbles last season to only seven this year. “The way we have it set up right now, there’s plenty of time to assess that. There’s nothing really you can do until March, so we’ll get a chance to go back and look at it. That’s what you have to do, you can’t make an emotional decision now, you have to go back through it and look at all of the things you have to do better and why they didn’t work and where you can get better,” said Whisenhunt.

Theoretically the offense got slightly better as the quarterback(s) was only sacked 37 tines this season compared to 50 in 2013. The problem is the QB is getting too many clean shots taken at him. Jake Locker, who was playing on borrowed time finished the season on IR. Zach Mettenberger, supposedly the “future” of the franchise also finished the season on the IR after less than a half dozen games. Charlie Whitehurst missed a number of games due to game day injuries. The line still needs a lot of work. The running game dropped ten
places overall this season compared to 2013. It’s been a few years since the running game was feared in the NFL. An aging Chris Johnson was shipped out and a youth movement took over. Bishop Sankey, the rookie out of Washington led the team in rushing with 569 yards but averaged only 3.7 yards a rush. Once again a lot of the trouble with the offense could relate to a weak offensive line that opened very little holes for the running game and was full of holes when protecting the QB. “When you get to the end of a season as tough as this one, you need to take a little time and go back through it. You know, it was tough. It was tough for our fans. I think one of the things you have to understand is that we are working pretty hard. We are working hard every week, trying to get a win. It hurts. That’s the worst part of this. It hurts when

So Long Smitty Thanks for the Memories I had an uneasy feeling as I climbed into my car Sunday morning as I got onto I-75 South headed to the Georgia Dome. I am an unapologetic Falcon fan. I have been so since before most of you were born. I’ve seen some terrible teams – even witnessing Marion Campbell getting two terms as head coach, averaging maybe for wins a season. I was even at the Monday night game when Bobby Petrino left a farewell note in his team’s locker after the game and remember as I got home from that deba-

I also remember the “Gritz Blitz”, the “Dirty Birds” and “Ron Mexico” as well as winning big against the Rams in the playoffs and being ten yards shy of a Super Bowl. Not one to become emotionally attached to anything including modern day sports teams where there no longer is any loyalty, I had become attached to Mike Smith over the last seven years.

The feeling I got while being on the field was that the Falcons already knew the fate of their coach and nothing they were going to do was going to change that. It was part anger, dismay and disbelief the way they played. It was as if they were protesting the news announced yet in the process threw their coach under the bus. Of course this wasn’t the first blunder in Arthur Blank’s 12 years on owning the team. Granted, Blank is one of the best owners in not only the NFL, but professional sports in general. For the most part he has kept his nose out of the team’s operations and has spent money where and when it needs to be spent. I think he pulled the plug prematurely on Dan Reeves and Jim Mora pandering to the players and fans. In my humble opinion Blank is one of those guys that wants to be liked and popular. Most people do, I guess, but he makes these big decision with no logic or reason. Vick missed most of the season because of a preseason injury and the team went from a playoff team to a double-digit losing team. It wasn’t the coach’s fault. To magnify the issue Blank famously wheeled Vick around in a wheelchair on the sideline of a game something he would regret a couple of years later when is star QB was sent to Leavenworth. Then there was the Jim Mora era. Mora was a surprise pick, but with a new GM (Rich McKay) with a sound track record and no past history as an NFL coach maybe this might work. Sure enough the Falcons won the NFC South for the first time and hosted their first playoff game since the Super Bowl run of 1998. They won in a big way and lost in the NFC championship game to the Eagles. The following year they fell to 8-8 after a 6-2 start and to 7-0 after another 6-2 start. Word got out that Mora while being interviewed on radio said his “dream job” was to coach Washington (college). Supposedly Blank didn’t find this humorous and despite all of Mora’s

In over 40 years in existence this was the only time they had backto-back winning seasons. Under Mike Smith they had five back-to-back winning seasons and four playoff appearances including falling just ten yards short of the Super Bowl in 2012. Granted, the last two seasons have been a disaster but injuries are the blame for that and too much of a “win it now or never” attitude. It was almost as if Dimitroff felt pressure to win it all the next year or else. That resulted in some bad personnel decisions like signing a past his prime Steven Jackson, letting John Abraham to go and not signing another effective pass rusher. The Falcons fell to 4-12 with seven of those losses being one score losses. A couple of other games they were close or ahead going into the fourth quarter but depth kept them from pulling out the wins like in the previous five seasons. This past season saw a lot of the same problems with no defensive pressure on opposing quarterbacks and almost as many “name” players on IR as the active roster. At 6-8 going into Sunday’s game they still were only a victory from winning their third division title in seven years and fifth playoff appearance. The Smith critics started raising their voices loud last season calling for his head as early as October 7 after losing to the Jets on Monday Night Football 30-28 a they went into their bye week. 2013 was the first year Smitty had lost consecutive games as a head coach. To me it seems as if Blank listens too much to sports talk radio as he gave in to the pressure of “popular” opinion. Like a eulogy I will remember Smitty as the best Falcons coach ever. Winning became expected under Smitty not a novelty like in the past. In fact, I want to see where he goes next. I think the Bears should take a look at him. He’s obviously good at dealing with difficult situations. The Falcons go into the off-season looking for a new coach and hopefully this firm “hired” to help with the search picks a winner. They sure gave up on one when they let Smitty go. He deserves a lot better.
