FAR CRY 3 COVER STORY
.................................................................................... ....................................................................................
"Ray Mears will need to re-write his bushcraft skills for this game, if he wanted to survive" - ENj Not to long ago Far Cry 2 was at the top of nearly every chart possible for the Xbox 360. Can this success be repeated with this sequel? Far Cry 3 is set on a tropical rainforest island, somewhere between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The island has many crazy, if not inhumane, inhabitants who thrive in protecting there sacred land. At the start of the game trying to regain consciousness - you are all over the place. Your hands and feet are tied together - you've been captured. All hope looks dull. You are being threatened by a man called Vaas. Somehow you manage to break loose from the rope - whilst Vaas is talking about his aspects of the world around him. Vaas suddenly takes a dislike to the way you are staring at him. You've offended him. This situation is only made worse when you find out you are at the edge of a cliff. The man suddenly lashes out without any warning. You fall and land in a pool of water. The rope suddenly gives way and you are now swimming for life and limb... The gameplay - judging from the Demo - looks stunning. The scenery around your character looks real, with the wind blowing the leaves around and the ferns gleaming in the sun! The game has tons of new guns and features. One feature being the cover tool, as you can slip and slide between and in cover. See a 7-min Preview on our site!

LUIGI'S MANSION 2
Finally, the long awaited sequel to the GameCube classic is on its way, and the two people who like Luigi are probably ecstatic. All jokes aside, Game Rant got some handson time with the upcoming Luigi’s Mansion 2, and it’s actually a lot of fun The game starts off in a similar fashion to the original, as Luigi is tasked with heading into a haunted mansion and sucking up money and ghosts with his handy dandy Poltergust 3000, but it’s not nearly as easy as it all sounds. Ghosts can’t just be sucked up when they are found, they must first be stunned with Luigi’s flashlight. After a ghost has been stunned, the player has to hold down the right trigger button to begin sucking up the ghosts. Each ghost has a set amount of hearts that slowly decrease the longer they are trapped within Luigi’s vacuum’s sucking radius. Many fans of the original probably noticed that the whacky scientist E. Gadd was missing from the Luigi’s Mansion 2 trailer that Nintendo revealed during their press conference at this year’s E3. Anyone who was concerned about the series continuing without E. Gadd will be happy to know that their fears are unfounded, because he is still the one giving Luigi advice and inventions this time around. Nintendo refused to go into much detail on the story for the new Luigi’s Mansion for obvious reasons, but clearly someone is in trouble and Luigi is the only person who can save them.
.................................................................................... ....................................................................................
The game takes place in a brand new house, but the layout of Luigi’s Mansion 2 is very similar to the first instalment in the series. Players move from room to room clearing them of ghosts, unlocking new rooms in the process. There are even a few times when Luigi will stumble upon a window or hole in the wall where he can scout the next room before he heads in. When this happens the gyroscopic capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS kick in, requiring gamers to actually physically move their 3DS around to check out the room. This is a nice addition to the 3DS version of the game, and it helps pull players even further into the faux-horror atmosphere. There is an abundance of ghosts, and while that’s something that everyone would expect to appear in a haunted mansion, they look a little bit different then the original ghoulish cast. The overall feel of the game is a lot more bright, and despite Luigi’s blatant cowardice the game is a lot less likely to give any kids nightmares. The 3D effects in Luigi’s Mansion 2 are also implemented well, and compliment the game quite nicely, while simultaneously helping to create an immersive experience for the individual playing it. Luigi’s Mansion 2 is a title that fans have wanted to happen for ten years, and after getting some play-time with the new game it’s safe to say that it’s exactly what fans have wanted from a sequel. Putting the game on the 3DS changes the overall intimacy and controls, but at the end of the day it feels pretty much identical to its GameCube counterpart.
which is not even remotely a bad thing. There is still a lot that is currently unknown about the game, and there are likely still a few new features that have yet to be revealed. Luigi’s Mansion 2 is currently scheduled to haunt a Nintendo 3DS near you in 2012. Overall people at the conference were cheering with delight - noting that most of them were in there late 30's. We will give you more information when we get it. Don't forget to keep checking the site for updated content.

E3 Explored "It's simply the best" - ENj
PSVita Console
Wii U Console
Perhaps one of E3 most tightly watched conferences in E3's history. The PSVita formerly known as the NGP - got announced at the expo. This brand new handheld console features dual analogue sticks, front and back touch pads and front and back facing cameras. Playstation have teamed up with AT&T to give exclusive carrier service to the US.
No it's not a siren. It's the new console from Nintendo the Wii U. This unique console gives you the ability to switch between the TV and the new touchscreen controller. The controller has a 6.2 inch screen, and is really the only feature of the whole new console to be shouted home about. The console can play games at HD quality, something we have already experienced with other consoles about 5 years ago. There's an amazing line-up of games though: Darksider 2, Dirt, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online, Metro: Last Light, and many more.
After lots of speculation here we go: Prices: 3G= $299.99 WiFi= $249.99
3D PS3 TV Sony have announced, quite a nifty new peiece of tech. A 3D dual-screen TV which can allow 2 people at once, whislt playing the PS3, see different 3D images. This is done by putting 2 screens on top of eachother. But sadly gamers will still have to wear 3D glasses to have the experience and priced at $499 we cant really see how it will take off.
Ghost Recon: FS If you are going to survive this game you must use teamwork to your advantage as this game is made to be as realistic as possible. Bullets and Bombs will be flying at you. The only thing between them is you and your companions. But which one will it hit?
Call Of Duty: MW3 The biggest FPS franchise hits to our consoles again. Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3. This addition to the franchise is promising great things including an overhauled Multiplayer platform - the most popular feature by far in the game. But some critics have taken a dislike to this franchise because it is so repetitive shooting the same gun, killiing the same person again and again... The list goes on. But Infinity Ward has came clean and has said the it will ensure that these flaws will not be in the latest edition...
Far Cry 3 Hey look it is not on our cover for nothing. This game has been dubbed 'the biggest surprise of E3', we are not surprised. This game franchise is one of Xbox's most popular games. This game is in development with Ubisoft who are releasing it on the Xbox360, PC and PS3 but not only that... it will be PS Move compatible!
EPIC FAILS OF E3

E3 Explored “Try and fail, but don't fail to try. - ENj
Re-Connect Controller The crowd was eager to find out about the latest Call Of Duty. All eyes were on the presenter who was (attempting!) to play the new game. But midway through the game the controller disconnected from the Xbox. The Xbox notice came up to reconnect. The presenter looked about him... He must have been thinking "I need to connect this ASAP, has anybody noticed?" Well he did reconnect the controller and all was fine but we did notice. FAIL!
Come on get Kinected.
Hahaha... Funny. Not! Isn't it so funny when you crack a joke? Well Ubisofts guy didn't, as he said a joke that was really bad. There was silence in the rooom. Nobody even hinted at laughing... The funniest part of the whole conference was the "back in time" music because that was what he needed to do. Undo his wrongs. FAIL!
He shouldn't do stand-up!
Battlefield Infinity? No it's not a new game. It's the gameplay in the demo of Battlefield shown at E3. When you get shot you die, right? Well not according to this demo. The guy in the game is getting shot at, bullets, tanks... the lot. And no health is being taken off of him... Hmm. BF3 clearly must have added super-shielded body armour to the guy. Yeah that's what they done. No?? FAIL! I will survive!

MOVIES
Did you know? - "We could save you a cinema ticket!"
Kung Fu Panda 2
Plot: Po - the dragon warrior - begins a new phase of training — finding what is called inner peace — with Master Shifu (Hoffman). But when psychotic albino peacock Lord Shen threatens to conquer China and destroy kung fu, Po and mates must leave the Valley Of Peace and sock it to the chops.
Review: The original Kung Fu Panda was cute and quite funny and had some amazing action, but it really didn't impress. On the other side this film made $600 million plus at the box office. Dreamworks sequel has totally changed the critics view of the franchise and made it a whole load more entertaining for all the family not just kids. The action in this film is really brutal and is sometimes quite funny - even for an adult! Dreamworks have really made the friendships of the famous five really reach out to the view in this sequel. This has improved the overall storyline very well. The CGI used in this film is quite clever as it has an oriental feel especially after seeing the Chinese style cutscene at the beginning of the film!
Verdict: A richer plot, life lessons and loving Chinese cultural references rendered by turns sweet, scary and charming, with yet more fantastical kung fu, make this an engaging winner. Stunning visuals make it real art as well. The 3D version of this film is a bit of a time waster as the animated effects make the 3D illusion blurry. But overall a great kiddies action film
Flick Rating: "Need's some work feels unfinished"
