DEUS EX: HUMAN REVO.
.................................................................................... ....................................................................................
PREVIEW Voted one of e3's most violent games - Deus Ex Human Revolution has a reputation to live up to. This game was shown off, finally, at the latest E3 Expo in LA. It has been in development since 2007 (that's four years!) - so hopefully the game will be as good as it sounds! But critics and beta testers of the game have found some major flaws within the game - all of which can mostly be corrected by a few menu tweaks. The game's map is much like Fallout 3's - large and almost impossible to have a GTA vision of roads or buildings. So the game has a "he might give me a mission feel". In other words you are 20% of the time searching for a mission to complete. This could be a pain and for softcore gamer this could make it a little daunting to play. The world is densely packed with large stocky buildings which adds a exploring feel to the game and makes the game more challenging.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is reminiscent of the classic game. It's unflinching in its demands. Players attempting a full-on attack had better be sure they can manage the swarm. Stealth users must manage their surroundings to ensure a silent approach -this is where the game's cover system shines. The game has a bundle of missions and sidemission for the gamer to play. We have calculated that the game has around 10 hours of gameplay. This figure is quite pathetic considering other games of this genre which makes us think that addons will be announced for the game (without any doubt). It seems the game will be on the PS3, XBOX360 and PC - basically the consoles of today which does not surprise me.

GAME TOPIC RIDGE RACERS 3D
Ridge Racer 3D. Other magazines have given good reviews, but is it all it's cut out to be? This game has all the basic elements of a racing game, and is a great introduction to racing games to those who haven't played them before. However, this isn't a game for kids. My eight year old sister (who is very tech-savvy) had problems with the full aspect of controlling the car. At almost every turn you have to drift, and almost every drift sends you careering out of control, slipping and sliding all over the track, hitting the walls that you were drifting to avoid. Another problem I had with the game was the in-game physics. Hitting a wall seemed to do nothing but send off sparks, and even when I tried to total my car the most that ever happened was the wing mirror mysteriously disappearing. Maybe I should stop complaining, because to be honest it is a very good game, but when a game needs to be criticised, criticism is what I will give it. One final criticism (yes, I promise it's the last...or do I?) I have is that switching from third person to first person is TERRIBLE. It's easy enough (just a button on the bottom screen) but it's harder to judge distances in first person, and there's no way to tell if you're drifting...now for the actual positives... The graphics are great. Just plugging the game into your 3DS produces a flashy 3D car in a case at the top screen. Playing your first game has drool-worthy graphics as you race around the

track, with buildings rushing past you, and it gets even better with a bit of turbo. Another high is the computer A.I. The cars really do try to cut you up, and when you start slipstreaming behind them they swerve to get you off their tails, and when you DO finally get in front, they slipstream behind you. This game is full of intuitive twists and tweaks. Yet another awesome point for the game is the sheer SIZE of it. I don't think any other game so far (maybe not counting Ocarina of Time) has the same amount of areas and landscapes this game has, and to be honest, this game beats Zelda anytime in the graphics department (sorry for you Zelda fans out there) and some of the hills, jumps and cliff faces are just amazing.
+ Fun. + Awesome graphics. + Awesome A.I. + Loads of locations, keeps you playing for hours.
- Slightly repetitive. - I'll die if I have to do another drift. - STUPID in-game physics. SOUND 8/10 - great song selection and you really hear those cars purr. GRAPHICS 9/10 – awesome, almost drool-worthy. FUN 7/10 – awesome, sweeping landscapes but can get repetitive. OVERALL Overall 84% 80%

Elder Scrolls : V Skyrim
.................................................................................... ....................................................................................
E3 IMPRESSIONS Possibly one of the most awaited games of all time - the addition to the Oblivion saga - The Elder Scrolls V SKYRIM. The story is that basically the Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons! The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons. Overall a pretty good storyline. The graphics in this game are well amazing! You can't put that phrase into any other term. Take a look at the amazing screen shots. Don't worry if you haven't played a game of the franchise you are sure to pick the story up as you progress through the open world of Skyrim. The game has an estimated 100+ hours worth of gameplay, which is pretty descent for any avid gamer. The story behind the game has not yet been announced. The game is released on the 7th of November. We suggest PreOrdering because this game is popular!

"Keeping you informed of the latest in the industry" - ENJ Playstation 4 anyone? It is said that Sony, the company behind the PS3, are in full swing in to launching there successor to the consoles the PS4.
Picture: Lulzsec Mascot
Lulzsec Calm Down For Now The famous hacker group Lulz Security has after 50 long days said they are shutting shop for now. This comes after the arrest of Ryan Cleary, who was a suspect in the case, was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. In a statement titled ’50 Days of Lulz’, the group known to have disrupted services from a number of video game companies including the likes of Bethesda Softworks, Codemasters and Square Enix states: “For the past 50 days we've been disrupting and exposing corporations, governments, often the general population itself, and quite possibly everything in between, just because we could. Team Fortress 2 Free-2-Play Forever Team Fortress 2 has gone free, and it's staying that way forever. Valve, the game's developer, announced the news on its Web site yesterday. The company said that users can play as much of the game as they'd like for as long as they like at no charge. Got News? Email Us - enjreviews@gmail.com
Although this is just speculation and no solid proof has been shown this would make sense, because Sony announced that the PS Vita could connect to the PS3 or did they mean the PS4? ENJ only say this because it would be a long process trying to upgrade your PS3's firmwire to support the device...
Sony Sacked Security Before Breach... It has came to light that Sony had fired there security officers just weeks before the critical hack which left 80 million plus account exposed on the internet in April. Sony was criticized for not informing users more quickly and although offering ID protection PSN users were having none of it. There was a gap of 1 week between the hack and telling the public. Another criticism was that Sony's security simply wasn't what it should have been to prevent the attack from happening. "Sony sought to cut its costs at the expense of its customers by terminating a significant number of employees immediately prior to the security breach, including personnel responsible for maintaining the security of the network," the class action lawsuit reads.
Xbox Live Free-2-Play Games? Reinforcing what we've previously heard, a new report states that free-toplay games are coming to the Xbox 360. Microsoft is talking with developers about bringing F2P titles to its home console. Xbox Live will add a microtransaction service that would allow in-game items to be bought "on the fly." That likely means items could be accessed immediately without having to restart the game. Free-to-play games traditionally rely on microtransactions (and sometimes advertisements) for support and income much like the music platform Spotify. No time frame was attached to any of this. A similar report in April said free games would begin showing up on 360 in 2012. PlayStation 3 is already home to one free-to-play game, Free Realms. Nintendo has flat-out said, "Nintendo is not interested" in microtransaction-based games. Steam added support for F2P games last week.
