his week as I began settling in as the new president of ENMURuidoso, I couldn’t help but reflect on the past year. This reflection has caused me to feel personally honored and humbled by being named the college’s new president, but more than that, it has made me excited; excited because of the support of the community this past year, and excited to continue to help bring a collective vision into reality. Over this summer things changed at ENMU-Ruidoso. First, the college, along with everyone, is navigating a new world due to COVID-19. This is challenging, but we all know that ENMU-Ruidoso students, like Lincoln County residents are resilient. They have continued to pursue higher education from anywhere—even from our WIFI connections accessible in the college parking lot—and we are committed to continue supporting them and this community.
