Rediscovering Our Bliss Crystal Healing

Even if we felt robust and healthy during the lockdowns, celebrating our own wellness seemed insensitive to those who were caring for or mourning the loss of beloved family and friends. But wellness is something we can be even more grateful for now. As restrictions ease up, we’re ready to get moving again and double-down on our blissfinding and physical fitness goals. A Good Night's Sleep Princess Cruises partnered with sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus to design the The Princess Luxury Bed, an ultra thick pillow top mattress topped with 100% cotton sheets. A Dreampad pillow delivers music through gentle vibrations which stimulate your body’s relaxation response. There’s also a Sleep Channel on stateroom TVs which has relaxing music by MusiCure as well as a sleep meditation audio from Dr. Breus. Sink into Westin’s plush Heavenly bed and rub the Sleep Well Lavender Balm on your temples for a restful night’s sleep. For a late night snack, the Sleep Well Menu offers a selection of sleep-enhancing superfoods from room service. Hyatt has teamed up with Headspace to offer complimentary sleep exercises and soothing sounds that will help you wind down and sleep like a baby. The app will also provide mindfulness guidance from former monk and Headspace co-founder, Andy Puddicombe.

Mental Wellness Hyatt’s Miraval brand has a new partnership with NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, to launch a series of events and programs that aim to promote the intersection of mindfulness and mental wellbeing, which are so important in today’s world. In collaboration with NAMI, Miraval has created a series of 12 Sensory Journey videos that will include guided meditations. They will be complimentary on miravalresorts.com in late spring.

Celebrity’s Crystalarium is a beautiful refuge of natural stone walls set around a large healing Amethyst crystal which promotes natural healing energy. Seabourn’s Amethyst Crystal Sound Bath Healing Treatment combines the therapeutic benefits of the Amethyst Bio-Mat, which uses infrared light and crystals to heat the body, with the pure sounds that emanate from crystal sound bowls. Carnival’s Elemis Pro-Collagen Quartz Lift Facial, an anti-aging treatment that uses quartz micro crystals to exfoliate the skin, reduces wrinkles and improves skin firmness.

Bring the Outside In Nature makes us feel good. Interior staterooms on Royal Caribbean have Virtual Balconies: HD floor-to-ceiling screens that offer a real-time view of the ocean. There’s even sound added for effect, while curtains and a virtual balcony rail offer an “outside feel” to your inside cabin. Fairmont, Sofitel and Swissôtel have partnered with Three Sages to provide guests with in-room access to complimentary exercise and mindfulness videos that feature spectacular outdoor backdrops from some awe-inspiring locations including Ojai, California and Joshua Tree National Park.
