A warm welcome to The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Show 2025. As we celebrate our 12th year we are delighted that so many families, carers, healthcare professionals and individuals living with dementia over the years have been able to find advice, information, help and support. As part of our commitment to ‘Uniting the Care Community’, this year we are pleased to be co-located with our sister events Naidex, UK Care Week and Neuro Convention, providing our visitors access to an even wider range of content and exhibitors.
It has always been our aim to bring together the leading voices in the field, whether from an organisation or business, family carer or person living with dementia, to give you the opportunity to listen and put your questions to them. Hear them all speak in our theatres throughout the two days and gain professional CPD points.
Meet our friendly and helpful exhibitors and discover the latest and best products. We are delighted Nationwide Building Society are supporting Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses 1-2-1 clinics as part of their Fairer Futures programme. For private advice head to stand ALZ-G60 where you can book individual appointments on the day.
For professionals this event is the only one in the UK to offer four unique training opportunities for individuals: Virtual Dementia Tour; Autism Reality Experience; Dementia Interpreters Course; DIET - Dining Immersive Experiential Training, all of which include CPD certificates for both Training and Attendance. We would like to thank all our speakers, exhibitors, our partner Alzheimer’s Society, supporters Dementia UK, Nationwide, Training2Care, The Dementia Care Awards and Care Talk as well as our media partner The Carer for their help, support and collaboration.
Finally, we hope the show will give you a better understanding of dementia and help you support those you care for.
The ROAR B2B and Draw Events Team
The main theatre hosts leading professionals speaking on a wide range of topics including research, supporting children, communication, frailty, continence, as well as AI and dementia.
Situated in the co-located Neuro Convention, The Neuro Innovation Hub will host a ‘Dementia Hour’ of talks. Discover cutting-edge technologies and solutions specifically designed to support people living with dementia including Beth Britton chairing a session with persons living with dementia.
Looking to develop your professional skills in dementia care?
This is the only event in the UK where Training2Care offer four certified training experiences. Spaces are limited, but some may be available on the day.
This innovative training experience, run by Training2Care, will give you an understanding of what a person living with dementia experiences daily.
This interactive experience is medically and scientifically proven to be the closest that a person with a healthy brain can experience what dementia might be like and is ‘must have’ training for every care professional or family member who wants a better understanding of dementia.
The Dementia Interpreters Workshop is the first experiential course specifically designed to focus on the communication needs for people living with dementia.
The aim of the course is to enable people to start learning the language of dementia and realise that communication never stops, it might simply be that it is happening in ways that we don’t currently recognise.
Understanding the challenges that autistic people experience is vital in providing services that are inclusive, empathetic and fit for purpose. The Autism Reality Experience was created by autistic people to allow you to adjust your service and practice to truly make them integrated into society.
Dining Immersive Experiential Training is a life adjusting course that is a must for anyone that works or supports people that have dementia. Launched in February 2024, this experiential course transports you to understanding how to overcome the challenges faced by people that have dementia around mealtimes.

Admiral Nurses offer invaluable advice and support to carers of people with dementia. It’s a service that Dementia UK and Nationwide are proud to be offering up and down the country in nearly 200 branches. And it’s just one of the ways in which Nationwide’s social impact programme, Fairer Futures, is seeking to support those who have been dealt an unfair hand. Clinics are offered on a first come basis.
For the first time, The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Show is co-locating at NEC Birmingham with Naidex, Business without Barriers, UK Care Week and Neuro Convention meaning professionals are able to access all other shows and public can access Naidex, Business without Barriers and Neuro Convention.
