Mary Magdalene Revealed

Meggan Watterson, Traci S. Jackson, and Jake Wesley Rogers Course 2902-389/Tuition $395 ($355 Members) SS

The gospel of Mary Magdalene reveals a radical love that sits at the heart of the Christian story. Mary’s gospel says we are not sinful; we are not to feel ashamed or unworthy for being human. In fact, our purpose is to be fully human—a person who has remembered that we are a limited ego, and also, a limitless soul.

Through lecture, discussion, and practice of the Soul-Voice meditation together, we uncover an understanding about Mary Magdalene as a figure of profound spiritual authority in the earliest form of Christianity. We discover why Mary’s gospel was excluded from the current form of the New Testament, and explore the secret teachings Christ gave to her.

Return home with a deeper understanding of why Mary Magdalene's teachings are so relevant and with a personal experience of the love Mary's gospel reveals.

DANCING WITH THE BEAR Healing Through Dreams & Imagination

Robert Moss

Course 3102-417/Tuition $360 ($325 Members)

Our dreams show us what is going on inside our bodies and what we need to stay well. They give us fresh and powerful imagery for selfhealing. When we learn to go back inside our dreams and dream them onward, we open paths of healing for others and ourselves.

The Bear is the great medicine animal of North America. In Native tradition, the most powerful healers are those called by the Bear in dreams and visions. In ancient Europe, the Bear was a goddess. In this weekend adventure into shamanic lucid dreaming, we explore how Bear medicine can heal and re-enchant our lives. We discover that active dreaming is central to soul recovery, reclaiming vital energy we lost through pain, heartbreak, guilt, or addiction. We learn how to bring a dream to someone who needs a dream. Together, we grow the compassionate circle of energy that makes the extraordinary easy.

UNLOCK YOUR STORY

Kickstart Your Novel, Memoir, or Personal Essay

Ruthie Ackerman

Course 3205-604/Tuition $455 ($410 Members)

Brené Brown says vulnerability is the "birthplace of trust, love, belonging, and courage.” In this writing workshop, we explore the many sides of ourselves, including those secret parts we don't want anyone else to see. Through that process, we learn something critical about life and writing: What we assume others will dislike about us is actually what connects us most deeply.

Whether you are new to writing or have a manuscript you’ve been chipping away at, magic happens under Ruthie Ackerman’s guidance and the support of a tight-knit writing community.

Through generative exercises, suggested reading and listening, and writing, writing, writing, we unlock our creative brains, roll up our sleeves, and find the heart of the story waiting to be told. We leave with the nuts and bolts of a draft in place and the building blocks for a sustainable writing flow once at home.

Ruthie Ackerman’s awardwinning journalism has taken her around the world—from war-torn nations to Wall Street. Her wildly popular piece for the New York Times Modern Love column inspired her upcoming memoir and shifted her focus from traditional reporting to personal stories. ruthieackerman.com

Creating Your Future With Transits, Progressions & Evolutionary Astrology

Steven Forrest

Course 3405-511/Tuition $450 ($405 Members)

Planets are always moving through the natal chart, pressing our developmental buttons, and with the swarm of events, it’s often hard to stay focused on the heart of the message. Everything depends on a full understanding of the basic birth chart—and that’s a feat in itself.

No need to be discouraged. Evolutionary astrologer Steven Forrest o ers a methodical, step-by-step process for surfing the astrological complexity— one that helps you keep first things first, knowing what to leave out, and keeping your precious intuition in the mixture.

Forrest’s choice-centered evolutionary astrology is a system that marries humanistic psychology and ancient metaphysics, placing them in the context of free will and personal responsibility. Imagination also pervades this evolutionary approach.

Once some basics have been introduced, we’ll demonstrate them by working in real time with the randomly drawn charts of volunteer class members.
