Equitopia ONLINE Conference: PERSPECTIVES ON ASYMMETRY 5th - 6th May 2020
Equitopia is on a mission to support equestrians who believe in compassionate horsemanship. We do this by empowering the equestrian community with a wide array of evidence-based educational resources including certified online courses, expert-led webinars, monthly podcasts, behind-the-scenes videos, and essays summarizing key messages from equine research studies.
Each conference focuses on a single theme viewed from the perspectives of multiple equine professionals
At Equitopia, we believe that interprofessional collaboration is critical to ensuring compassionate equine care, and this perspective will underpin our upcoming thematic virtual conference series - beginning in May 2020. Each conference will focus on a single theme from the perspectives of multiple equine professionals - each adding his/her unique insight to the topic based on their qualifications, expertise and experience. The theme of the first conference is Asymmetry as it applies to riders and the horse, both statically and in the pursuit of ridden work.
This conference will be edited after the event, and compiled as an online course, complete with quizzes, discussion questions, downloadable resources, and certificate of completion. All amounts paid for tickets to the live event, will be deducted from the price of this online course.
