 IPSF Intro:

International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation was founded in London in 1949, with the statutory aim of “studying and promoting the interests of Pharmaceutical students and to encourage international cooperation among them”. At the time, eight countries formed the membership of this Federation, most of them coming from Western Europe. Fifty years have passed and today, IPSF has a solid membership of more than eighty organizations representing a total number of more than three hundred fifty thousand (350,000) pharmacy students worldwide.


 EPSF Intro:

Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (EPSF) is a nongovernmental and non-profit pharmacy students’ organization, it was founded in 1982. EPSF works under supervision of the Egyptian Pharmacists Syndicate and Egyptian Pharmaceutical Association (the national FIP) to promote and improve public health through provision of information, education, networking and a range of publication and professional activities. EPSF is a full member federation representing Egypt in International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF). EPSF now represents more than 58,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates in 32 schools of pharmacy.

 EPSF-Heliopolis Intro: EPSF Heliopolis is one of the 32 associations in EPSF; it founded in Heliopolis University in February 2013.  Achievements:  Hosting EPSF Semi General Assembly in 2014.  Hosting “Step on the Way” course for two years (2016 and 2018) which was attended by seven universities and in cooperation with many companies.  Hosting EPSF National Patient Counselling Competition in 2015.  Hosting the regional national interviews of the Student Exchange Program in 2017.  Participating in many scientific conferences related to EPSF and IPSF.  Hosting different national workshops.  Establishing a book club.  Having Galaxy Gym as Partner.  Having ISIS Company and infinity for Supplement Company as sponsors.  Organizing Ramadan Iftar for two years.

 Committees: ďƒ˜ Public Health Committee (PH):

This committee aim to organize health awareness campaigns in universities, public places, villages and Schools about different epidemic places in Egypt to increase public awareness. It also helps people to change their life style and present a real change on ground. Promote public awareness in Egypt and to deliver the concept of pharmacy students' role to the public. EPSF is intended to be one of the best organizations all over Egypt which is interested in Public health.


ďƒ˜ Professional Development (PD):

Its main role is creating events for developing the pharmacy practice and Promoting the pharmacist role in the community and improving the quality of the profession through professional events and workshops. Establishment of basic projects included by this portfolio such as Clinical Skills Event, Patient Counselling Event, Pharmacy Profession Awareness Campaign and Teddy Bear Hospital according to the need of students through the year.


ďƒ˜ Local Exchange Officer (LEO):

She is responsible for student’s exchange through IPSF countries, Students Exchange Program (SEP) to promote understanding and cooperation amongst pharmacy students and all health care professionals. Getting in contact and hosting many students from various countries, putting both training and social programs for incoming SEPers. It also helps to improve member's English language through holding English clubs.


ďƒ˜ Continuous Education Committee (CE):

He is responsible for Plan, coordinate and innovate courses. Creating other educational programs which helps pharmacy students to full fill with soft skills that the profession requirements after graduation. Work for creating other educational and research programs and implementing the Scientific Research.
