OVER 100 YEARS OF SERVING OUR CLIENTS AS ARCHITECT OF RECORD AND ENGINEER OF RECORD WORLDWIDE.
Our reputation was established in the 1960s through Epstein’s association with Mies Van der Rohe on the landmark Federal Center project in Chicago, Illinois. Since then, Epstein has remained one of the premier, technically focused architects of record (AOR) and engineers of record (EOR) in the world.
Epstein’s technical knowledge, coupled with our multidiscipline structure and global offices, ensures that each of our clients receives comprehensive, top-tier architecture and engineering services.

We navigate the complex regulations specific to aviation and transportation, ensuring compliance with FAA/DOT safety standards and local building codes. Our role includes managing construction documentation, obtaining permits, and coordinating with multiple disciplines to address site-specific challenges.
For civic projects like libraries, schools, and museums, we ensure strict adherence to codes, accessibility standards, and community requirements. With over a century of experience, we oversee the creation of technical documents, guide the permitting process, and ensure compliance throughout construction.
In corporate and headquarters projects, we focus on aligning design intent with regulatory standards, preparing detailed construction documents, and managing the approval process. Our team ensures that all technical and legal requirements are met from start to finish.
In the hospitality sector, we handle the technical aspects of compliance, ensuring projects meet building codes and operational standards. We manage the documentation and permitting phases, while conducting site reviews to verify construction meets design and legal requirements.
For multifamily developments, we focus on ensuring safety and compliance with local codes and zoning laws. From preparing construction documents to securing permits, we manage the process to ensure projects are built according to standards.
Mixed-use developments require careful coordination across diverse project components. We ensure that each aspect—residential, commercial, or recreational—meets its specific regulatory and design requirements, managing permits, documentation, and compliance across the board.
