BHU to collaborate on research on hydrogen energy

Led by domestic energy giant Reliance Industries, many global energy and industrial players came together to form a new energy transition coalition, called the India H2 Alliance (IH2A), to help commercialise hydrogen technologies in their bid to build net-zero carbon energy pathways in the country.

The NHM initiative will capitalize on one of the most abundant elements on earth (Hydrogen) for a cleaner alternative fuel option. The Hydrogen Energy Centre at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and the National Hydro Power Corporation (NHPC), New Delhi, have agreed to collaborate in research on carbon neutral green energy and pilot project of hydrogen energy development.
