AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their humankind potential. We are a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by youth and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership, and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or national/social origin. AIESEC in UIN Jakarta, which is under AIESEC in Indonesia, continues to strive to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals especially in South Tangerang through various SDG-based social projects and accommodate the aspirations of youth regarding the closest social issues and provide space development.
In 2016, AIESEC in UIN Jakarta has established as one of local chapter under AIESEC in Indonesia and one of our goals is to be the enabler of growth towards south Tangerang. Since then, we have managed to send more than 80 young people abroad, developed more than 100 young people in our membership, purposefully engaged more than 80 partners, conducted seven social projects in South Tangerang, and seven workshops and seminars. Those milestones and accomplishments are our commitment to work towards our goals but we still have so many things to do to achieve it. I, Zulfa Nabilah Khairunnisa, as the president elected of AIESEC in UIN Jakarta for the term 2022, I’m ready to continue to fight for our goals and continue the legacy that my predecessor have in order to bring AIESEC in UIN Jakarta to be bigger, better and stronger. With the guidance from Board of Advisor and beneficial collaboration with partners, I’m optimistic that we will bring AIESEC in UIN Jakarta as one of the leadership movements towards fulfillment of humankind’s potential.
This month, AIESEC at UIN Jakarta had the opportunity to work together with Talent Growth in a collaboration project with Live Instagram. This shows that AIESEC is trying to make an impactful collaboration and prioritizes purposeful partnership development. With the theme "How to Find Your Passion", we aim to provide insight and interactive sessions with the audience. It is hoped that it will spread a positive impact.
We held a monthly agenda, namely a lead space about running philosophy which was presented by Sayyid Azzuhdi as the project controller manager. In this agenda we will run together after that we rest and enjoy the scenery together
An audit is a form of responsibility of LC to national and stakeholders. We conduct an audit every 6 months which is carried out by the IAC or the Internal Audit Committee. audits in the FGL department focus on financial and legal audits.
We provide a consultation space about finance for the event committee. At current finance edu, we provide guidance in terms of budgeting together with LCVP FGL, Project controller manager, Accounting manager, OCP Global Healer, and OCP Global Youthpreneur.
International Internship is the 3 program that runs by AIESEC in UIN Jakarta, which develops youths through leadership and internship programs.
Global Talent is an internship program for young people that is divided into some fields of work, such as Marketing, Business Development, and many more. This program will provide you with professional work abroad experience, while there is a Virtual Professional Program (VPP)
that will provide you the same experience with Global Talent but remotely. Global Teacher is a teaching opportunity abroad for young people who seek to develop their leadership skills, and competencies, and boost their career opportunities. With these opportunities, you can apply your skills and knowledge in a practical and challenging new environment.
Green Lantern 4.0 is a project for youth to help increase public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment in the South Tangerang area.
The main objective of this project is to help realize the eleventh point sustainable development goal of the United Nations, namely Sustainable Cities and Communities which aims to build inclusive, safe, durable, and sustainable cities and settlements.
The main objectives of this project are at the following points:
11.3 By 2030, strengthen inclusive and sustainable urbanization and capacity for participatory, sustainable, and integrated settlement management planning in all countries.
11.6 By 2030, reduce per capita adverse urban environmental impacts by paying special attention to air quality and municipal waste management.
Global Youthpreneur 7.0 is also one of the AIESEC projects at UIN Jakarta based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Point 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth. This program aims to improve entrepreneurship skills among youth and junior high school students and develop SMEs in South Tangerang by educating SMEs and youth about business, entrepreneurship, and marketing strategies to support them in this pandemic situation. The main objectives of this project are: to improve entrepreneurship skills among youth and junior high school students, develop MSMEs, etc.
