The Different Types Of Coliwasa Samplers & Drum Thiefs Available

1. Standard samplers are manufactured from virgin HDPE material

2. Pre-Cleaned samplers have been washed to an EPA protocol and are individually packaged

3. Sterilized samplers are pre-cleaned, individually packaged and have been sterilized by gamma radiation

4. Anti-Static samplers are manufactured from virgin anti-static HDPE plastic to reduce the possibility of static discharge and sparking

Polyethylene Coliwasa Samplers

Polyethylene samplers are designed to extract samples from drums, tanks, tankers and rail cars.

Operation

1. Insert sampler into drum or tank.

2. Pull up on handle to lock in place.

3. Remove sampler from tank.

4. Push down on handle to release the sample.

Note: Can be used to sample at specific depth by closing the valve before inserting the sampler and opening the valve by pushing down on the handle to open the valve once the desired sampling depth has been reached.

PTFE Coliwasa Samplers

PTFE Coliwasa samplers are ideal to use when sampling liquids and semisolid materials

Operation

1. Lower into the drum or tank with the valve assembly open to allow liquid to enter the sampler.

2. Pull the inner PTFE rod slightly upward to close the valve and seal in sample.

Glass Coliwasa Samplers

The Glass Coliwasa samplers are designed to be an economical, safe and fast method of drum sampling.

HDPE Plastic Drum Thiefs

The HDPE open-ended Plastic Drum Thief is used to sample drums, transformers and other liquid containers where small volume and low-cost sampling is required.

Operation

1. Insert the drum thief into your drum or container.

2. Cover the open end with your thumb.

3. Remove the sample.

Economy HDPE Dippers

The Economy Dippers are used for sampling from tanks, vats, streams, ponds, lakes and much more. They’re lightweight, easy to use and portable.

Features

• Threaded 500 ml polypropylene cup can be exchanged to reduce cross contamination

• Two pouring spouts on cup allow left or right pouring

• High-density polypropylene plastic handles are strong honeycomb tubes without inserts and are ribbed for a sure grip

Long-Handled HDPE Dippers

The Long-Handled Dippers are used for sampling from tanks, vats, lakes etc. They provide chemical resistance and float without rusting or corroding.

• Handle is welded to a rigid sampling bowl at a 45° angle for easier sampling from an elevated position

• Hardwood dowel encased in the 6 ft and 12 ft handle adds rigidity & strength
