acoustical choices Two advanced acoustical solutions—the acoustical insert and Qt Quiet technology™—enable concentration in three ways: sound absorption, sound blocking, and sound masking. The acoustical insert, which fits between two boundary screens, absorbs and blocks sound. Qt Quiet technology, a speech-privacy system, attaches to tall poles and emits a patented, direct-field sound spectrum that matches the frequencies of the human voice. In concert, they create an environment favorable for heads-down work.

Resolve lets organizations choose the most cost-effective method for distributing power and data. An overhead system of trusses carries power and data to poles and between workstation clusters. Its external cabling keeps cables accessible from the building entry point to individual ports at the work surface level. A truss can hold a 6-circuit, 10-wire electrical harness and has capacity for 144 Category 6, 4-pair UTP cables at a 60 percent fill rate. Cable troughs accommodate a large bend radius. Since power and data pathways in the overhead truss system are independent of applications below, workstations can change without disconnecting networks or causing employee downtime.
Resolve System ®
Power and data can also be distributed from pole to pole using the power/data channel located along the lower support arm. Each channel holds up to 117 Category 6, 4-pair UTP cables at a 60 percent fill rate. And, power and data can be distributed through existing raised floors into Resolve poles. A 6-circuit, 10-wire electrical harness can be specified inside a powered pole. The system’s circuit combinations include 4 general and 2 isolated ground circuits, 3 general and 3 isolated, or 2 general and 4 isolated ground circuits.
environmental sense Resolve has a significantly lower impact on the environment than traditional furniture systems. Workstations, which are 86% recyclable and contain 27% recycled materials, are also about one-third the weight and volume of most systems. And every part can be easily disassembled for recycling.

breadth of application
functional and efficient
The patterns of Resolve are based on five organized, repeatable configurations called “constellations.” Each offers a different level of enclosure, from open, two-sided constellations to more private, five-sided ones. Designers can cluster and mix the constellations to form more complex patterns that optimize floor space and support group and individual work—whatever professionals need.
The structure of Resolve starts with steel poles that can deliver power and data into workstations. Available 4, 5, and 8 feet high, poles have either 2 or 3 sides and slotted standards for component attachment at 1-inch vertical increments. The result is a simple, lightweight framework that’s durable and sturdy as well as fast and easy to install and change.

Freestanding and attached components store work materials and keep them at hand. From display stands to bookshelves to ladder shelves, there are plenty of places to put things. Attachable components fasten to work surfaces, poles, and support arms. Storage cabinets have a variety of reconfigurable interiors, and traditional pedestal and lateral file products integrate well with the Resolve system. Such a variety of choices provides numerous options for active, archival, and team storage.
The open angle of the Boomerang™ work surface, with its curved design and gently radiused front edges, promotes comfort and connection—keeping everything within reach. It can be positioned 22 to 32 inches high, providing healthful, ergonomic support.
Resolve display and boundary screens attach to support arms, forming workstation boundaries. Users control privacy and enclosure with rolling screens, while canopies and floor mats add to the feeling of personal space. Customized graphics or photography digitally printed on screens and canopies reinforce organizational branding or vision. Changing screens is a simple and inexpensive way to keep spaces looking fresh.
