賴友梅老師從玩具反 斗城分類「男女有 別」的玩具，刺激我 們思考生活中的性別 刻板印象。

首先在 NPET 登場的是性別平等教 育協會的賴友梅老師，她跟我們分享她 教小朋友性教育的經驗。親切的她笑聲 爽朗，表情豐富，感覺很容易跟小孩子 打成一片。她強調國中生的短期記憶只 有 15 分鐘左右(小學生可能 2～3 分鐘) 所以最好每個重點集中在 15 分鐘內講 完，中間穿插影片更有助於抓回注意 力。老師蒐集了很多廣告當作教材，有 些性別刻板印象鮮明，但我們都覺得習 以為常，在不知不覺中已被洗腦。例如 某沐浴乳的廣告分成男版跟女版，兩者 風格迥然不同，判斷能力還未健全的小 朋友可能因為廣告漸漸形成男生就是要 有六塊肌、女生就是要皮膚白皙這樣的 印象，而可能對不符合這樣形象的人加 以嘲弄。因此同儕性教育就要跟小朋友 們澄清這些迷思，教導他們這世界上的 美有很多種形式，要學會尊重他人。

Front page: The first NPET has been organized by SCORA at Taipei Medical University. We had invited three lecturers to instruct SCORA Local officers on how to conduct Peer Education to junior secondary students. Why we need NPET? In the past, there was just a brief session about what activities would have at the workshop before the tour of Peer Education work shop at different schools. Later, during the workshop preparation, we only focused on how to interact with teenagers and how to create a small drama, etc. We bare ly hold discussion on how to choose appropriate sexuality education issues, as well as how to attract students to listen without being irritated, and to avoid abstruse issues that leads to failure of understanding. The above mentioned reasons finally led t o the NPET establishment.

At the following training workshop, our senior Tai-hong He guided us on how to interact with LORA from different universities via games, to discuss and make the tallest paper tower, as well as to depict a picture verbally, in order to let us realize the importance of communication. Details should not be omitted, or the wrong information would be spread and thus would create a giant communication gap! On the other hand, Jie-Ming and YiFang explained the meaning of ‘gender spectrum’ by the ‘The Gender Gingerbread Man’, followed by opening discussion for every group member to share which position they were in the spectrum. With their guidance, sharing and discussion, we had developed a deeper conception on teaching children

In the afternoon, we had invited Xiao-Guai from the Persons with HIV/ HIV/AIDS Rights Advocacy Associa-tions of Taiwan to discuss HIV/AIDS and presen-tation skills with us. He advised us to use more colloquial ex-pression and stories to attract chil-dren’s attentions. It would be a good choice of coming down the stage and playing games with them. He intro-duced the general knowledge, such as symptoms, routes of infection (include-ing unprotected sex, the type of body fluid which will lead to infection, blood transfusion, sharing needles, organ transplantation and vertical infection) of HIV/AIDS by Q&A. Moreover, he reminded us that during the visit of Harmony Home Association, we shall not take photographs of patients’ faces and scenes that reflect the exact venue.

同儕教育培訓營的第二天， 邀請到慈濟大學社工系的賴月蜜教授，賴老師是婦女、兒少福利及家事 調解方面的專家，不同於律師，賴老師以社工人員的角度，關心每一位 個案，了解他們的背景，所以賴老師分享的故事，往往觸動聽者的內心 深處。 賴老師以《100 公分的世界》片段開頭，影片是以小孩子的視角， 體會家暴環境的成長背景，感受受虐童內心的轉折和成長的轉變。觀影 後賴老師以分組方式讓 LORA 們討論並分享，賴老師以個案補充說明， 根據統計，台灣性侵害案件，以國高中學生和家庭主婦受害為主，台灣 醫學生聯合會 SCORA 舉辦的同儕教育，主要推行國高中學生，希望能 在活動中打開孩子的心房，或許能發現孩子特殊的成長環境，讓孩子勇 敢分享他們的故事，提供孩子能尋求協助的管道。進一步的心靈對談可 以幫助受虐童重新接受人群，回歸正常生活，也能避免受虐童轉為施暴 者，進入惡性循環。而相關防治單位也已不侷限在社福單位，社區管理 員、里長等，每一個人都是家暴、性侵防治的重要成員。 另外，老師提到：瑞典是最年輕發生性行為，卻是墮胎率最低的國 家，是因為瑞典很重視性教育課程。現今台灣平均第一次發生性行為的 年齡約 17 歲，這體現同儕性教育的重要及不可或缺， 且隨著網路媒體 快速的資訊傳遞，兒童與青少年已提早接收到許多知識，然而，這些內 容不一定正確，也可能有錯誤解讀，我們希望透過同儕性教育，和孩子 接觸，孩子們可能會提出天馬行空，或是大膽的言詞，但賴老師提醒我 們：陪伴孩子討論，知道他們真正的想法，才能完整地將他們的觀念， 引導到正確的方向。 同儕教育培訓營最大的目標，即是透過講師分享和一連串的活動，

On the second day of NPET, we invited Professor Lai Yue Mi from Tzu Chi University. She is an expert on children welfare and family mediation, but not a lawyer. Instead, Professor Lai stands on the perspective of a social worker and looks into each and every case of hers with heart and care. And that is why her stories never fail to move the heart of her audience.

She started with sharing a short clip titled ‘The world of 100cm’, which tells a story of a child’s inner self transition when growing up in a domestic violence family. Professor Lai then held a discussion and sharing session. She mentioned that the cases of sexual assault in Taiwan are mainly targeted at high school students. The aim of NPET held by SCORA is to help them open up their hearts and by chance; we might be able to find out about their ‘special’ growing background. They will be encouraged to share their stories, and most importantly, giving themselves another chance to trust the human race.

Everyone plays an important role in preventing domestic violence and sexual assault, it is not limited to prevention unit held up in buildings anymore.

Furthermore, Professor Lai mentioned that Sweden has the youngest age group to have sexual intercourse; yet, Sweden has the lowest abortion rate.She explained that sexual intercourse in Sweden is executed effectively. In Taiwan, the average age of teenagers having their first sexual intercourse is 17 years old.

This reflects the importance of Peer Education and is indispensable. With the advanced technology in the 21st century, we are accessible to all sorts of information from the Internet, which is a very advantageous. However, some information might be wrong, and there are possibilities of wrong interpretation of readers. Therefore, we hereby hope that via NPET, we can clear their misunderstanding of what they read from the Internet.

The main target of NPET is to strengthen our knowledge as well as our peers, and experience teamwork where trust and communication is crucial.

LORA will be arranged to attend a related training camp with our juniors in our university. Hopefully, we hope Peer Education can upgrade its professionalism, updating information appropriate for high school students, and via the teaching, we can improve ourselves. It’s a win-win situation! After attending NPET, we hope LORA will be able to lead their peers and juniors with confidence.

Moreover, NPET is the proudest annual event held by SCORA!
