Once upon a time a beautiful girl named Cinderella was born, she was shy and romantic, she maintains hope through her dreams and always waits for her prince to come to save her. She is hopeful that someday her wishes of happiness will come true. Her dream come true, because the prince fall in love with her, both feel the same and the love story begins‌ Disney version is so romantic and beautiful, but today we are going to present you the real dramatic version‌ Cinderella was a folk tale rewritten in 1697 by Brothers Grimm. In 1950 Walt Disney productions made their interpretation of the Brothers Grimm tale and made a movie. However, the movies were for children, so Disney cut out a few gruesome parts of the original.

In this movie instead of having a tree with a wish granting bird, Cinderella has a fairy godmother.
Similarities:
In Cinderella the characters are all the same in both versions. The two stepsisters are mean and have terrible attitude towards her. The mother dies and the stepmother is rude and favors her daughters. Both versions teach the reader or viewer that being compassionate and king is how one should always act. Both show that when you give others misery, your actions will regardless have consequences.
