Question 1: What is Pictorial Space according to Le Corbusier? (Maximum 100 words) According to Le Corbusier, Pictorial Space means that the object demonstrated in a drawing is probably of fushion-through-composition of an object of sense. At the same time, a painting can be both a ground of an object’s fusion and another one which coheres or fuses itself.
Question 2: The Flatness of Le Corbusier’s painting’s are attributable to two properties. What are they? And what are these pitted against?(Maximum 100 words) Firstly, the constellation of objects wedge together in that insistent continuity of edges. Secondly, the object is regarded as pure extention, as laft.

WEEK 4 READING: TITLE OF READING Complete your reading before attempting these questions:
Question 1: Explain the difference between Pictoral (in this case perspectival) space and Projection? (Maximum 100 words) Projection refers to a more genaral conception. It does not focus on any special design aspects. Pictorial space, especially perspectival space provides a closed and finite sight for viewers. Projection includes various types of illustration.
Question 2: Where did Axonometric projection first arise, and why? (Maximum 100 words) In early 20th century, Axonometric projection first arose in Russia, since perspective is too limited. Perspective is not able to have a full view of project, it sets objects to a finite and closed view, claimed by Lissitzky. In this way, Axonometric projection allows views to have more spatial imiagination in terms of the 3D sketch of certain objects.

ILLUSTRATED MARIO’S NEW WORLD
??????!
THIS WAY MARIO
This is my final illustrated mario world. With two segaments combined, the characters are put into the free space in between them. Different shade level on the hill and box body aims to contrast the different light angels. The landmarks are arranged almost to the vertical direction so that they can be fitting to the 3D world.
