E DUCAT I ON Master of Architecture

Main focus on Design-Build; with an emphasis on sculpture.

- The intersection of architecture and sculpture is a niche in the professional field that has continually fascinated me; where a need for innovation and the connection of seemingly disparate ideas leads the way to producing functionally beautiful pieces of habitable artwork. - My time at university delved deeply into that chasm; investigating the tangible effects of physical manipulation of a material in design/build studios, while devising theoretical building designs in architecture studios.

Residential Housing/Structural Design Studio

- Coinciding with my internship at Studio Odile Decq, this was an integrated international design studio taught by Pierre Engel. We focused on developing innovative social housing solutions that utilized prefabricated steel components. - The design studio aligned with a series of lectures that Professor Engel gave discussing multiple world renowned building designs that he consulted on, and went into much of the details on steel fabrication, framing and building components that allowed for them to be possible.
