We start with a thorough analysis of your application, on the basis of which we choose the best solution, in consultation with you, of course.

If required, we will present the product or system design in 3D, enabling you to immediately see if the intended configuration and connections fit in your system. After approval of the design, the product or system is assembled and tested in one of our workshops, so that it can be rapidly implemented in your system. This reduces production interruptions to a minimum. Our Field Service Team can organise further support for your system.

Project approach Our early involvement The Front End Engineering & Design of a project is an important phase in a project. If you engage ERIKS as early as the FEED phase of your project, you will fully benefit from our expertise. By discussing and analysing your project with our specialists early, you will prevent adjustments during the execution phase. As a result, your project will be realised within schedule and budget.

During the FEED phase we study all technical aspects and any problems of your project and prepare a rough cost estimate.

Manufacturing Quality own brands In addition to the Econ® label, ERIKS also supplies own brands, VE®, Smith and AMG, which are manufactured within the ERIKS group.

Econ® products such as gate, globe, check valves, ball valves and actuators, are designed and manufactured under our own management, on the basis of buyer requirements and in accordance with our own standards for quality and operational reliability. In order to safeguard quality, our internationally operating Valve Quality Development Team continuously checks each product, both during the manufacturing and purchasing processes. All information in relation to the ordering process and product specifications are stored in a central, internationally accessible database.

This will safeguard the quality of our Econ® products. As such, Econ® products guarantee continuous high quality and attractive price.

Dual expanding plug valves Thanks to the innovative design and excellent service, the VE® product is highly appreciated. Our VE® dual expanding plug valves have been approved by the most prominent industrial businesses in the fields of tank storage, refining, transhipment and maritime and aviation tank systems.

Gate, Globe, Check valves Under the Smith brand name - one of the oldest and most prominent brands for API 602 valves in the industry - we offer you a wide range of forged steel gate, globe & check valves for applications in the oil and gas industries, refining, the petrochemical industry and a host of other industries.

In addition to standard products we can also supply specials, such as valves for cryogen applications, fast and in accordance with your preferred specifications.

Actuators Pneumatic rack & pinion actuators from AMG can be assembled with virtually all types of ball valves, plug valves, butterfly valves and selector valves for applications in all branches of industry. Valve Automation Centre Large and complex valve assemblies

In our well-equipped Valve Automation Centre, valves are assembled with corresponding electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, or gas over oil actuators. The modification of valves and assembly of optional accessories is of course also something we offer. For the serial assembly of large valves and actuators, the Valve Automation Centre uses up-to-date workshop facilities.

Testing and certification

Specials / Engineered solutions

In order to safeguard maximum operation of these assembled products and systems, valves (up to DN1200 / 48�) are tested for pressure by means of modern test benches, in accordance with standards such as ISO 5208, API6A, API6D, API 598 and EN12266. Classification agencies can also test the valves in-house. Furthermore, ERIKS is certified by Lloyd’s Register for the issue of tonnage certificates for safety equipment. By undertaking these activities under our own management, we can give you an extensive warranty on the functioning of the applications.

During the past few years, ERIKS has developed into an experienced system supplier and manufacturer of specials. Our engineers have extensive knowledge of applications and practical experience and are perfectly capable of developing solid solutions for the optimisation of your processes. Furthermore, ERIKS is ISO 9001-2008-certified, including design paragraph. This means we can design client-specific products for you, in accordance with PED guidelines.
