< Compact design
The safety shut-off valve is designed for use in gas distribution, and pressure regulation systems. The device protects the downstream pipe against over-pressure or low-pressure failure, by automatically stopping the flow.
The 8200 - 8300 series is a direct-acting, safety shut-off valve, operated by a loading spring and a diaphragm control unit. It is fitted with an external manual reset.

Description
< Low pressure loss
The SSV 8500 safety shut-off valve is designed for commercial and industrial use: gas supply networks, district stations, industries and heating plants where ease of adjustment and fast response are required.
The SSV 8500 is a direct acting safety shut-off device of the slam-shut type. It shuts-off the gas flow automatically and completely when the monitored pressure exceeds the pre-set values (over-pressure and/or under-pressure). The closing plug of the SSV controller is used as pulling tool to re-latch the valve. A built-in bypass, for balancing pressure before re-latching the safety shutoff valve, is operated when pulling the valve stem.

Description
< High-flow capacity
The 801 and 811 relief valves are used downstream of pressure regulators to relief limited volumes of gas. Used where venting to atmosphere is acceptable, they provide cost effective solutions to avoid triggering safety shutoff valves in case of thermal expansion, transient surges of pressure and creep leaks from regulators. These valves are ideal for low pressure settings due to the increased sensitivity provided by a large diaphragm area.
The 801 and 811 relief valves are springloaded throttling relief valves, where a diaphragm measures the system (inlet) pressure, a spring provides the initial load to the diaphragm and establishes the relief set point and a valve throttles the relief flow .
