It’s no secret that some domesticated pets carry in themselves nature’s own versions of poisons. While most of them become aggressive for the purposes of security, a bite is still a bite and a toxic saliva is still toxic. Many pet owners go to great lengths training their four-legged companions, but they can still break out of the chains and hurt other people. There are owners to neglect their responsibilities on caring for their pets. Thus, they forget to have them vaccinated, get proper medical attention or even care for them. Dogs and cats are domesticated, but they will still need loads of affection to tame their wild side.

From “Good Doggy” to Snarling Beast Very few plan or make a budget for treating animal bites. It’s not a common occurrence and owners have a social responsibility to ensure that their pets are docile most times. Furthermore, it can get so expensive that it can eat away at someone’s life savings. That’s why lawyers everywhere represent animal bite victims because not all of them have money to spare or coverage for such an event. They are protective of their group, possessions and space, and it’s their nature to ward off aggressors in this situation. Thus, people should stay away from properties with guard dogs to avoid trouble. Untrained dogs, however, can overstep their boundaries and go for the kill. This is when it gets bad. Not only will there be a need for surgery, the infections will also need treatment.

Who is at Fault? The animal bit, but it’s in their nature to ward off aggressors through violence. Thus, it’s the owner’s responsibility to recompense for their pet’s actions. Not all of them will accept their responsibility, proving the need for legal assistance. At the very least, they will be legally coerced to accept that they’ve ignored their social duties of training their pets. Social is an important word when discussing pet responsibilities. Owners and even passersby need to recognize a situation involving an animal. This is the first step in creating a more harmonious, albeit farfetched, situation where no one will get hurt from animal bites. If they do, there are various ways of helping pet owners own up to their responsibilities.
