Australia is a country that is famous for its geographical features including the Great Australian Bight, the Blue mountains and of course the Great Barrier Reef. These unique places are destinations for people all around the globe. The aim of the new Rip Curl retail store at 635 Queen St. W is to capture the essence of Rip Curls founding country. The space will project an exotic sensation by creatively employing organic forms into the structure of the interior space. The Australian geography will be symbolized in the materials and finishes to reflect the rare and exotic luxuries that come with the experience of the Australian coast.

The concept and inspiration of the ceiling design. The thick felt-like material is malleable enough to form into wavy rows. These panels are fixed to the drywall ceiling by a subtle metal track.

Green Philosophy
Environmentally Sustainable Glass. Glass is often referred to as a Green product, because the main component to making glass is Silica. Found in sand, it is considered a renewable and never ending resource. Kiln cast glass offers decorative textures without compromising the environment. Neither plastics nor resin is used in any of our processes. When you choose to use glass, it’s an everlasting authentic statement Mother Nature can live with.
